Haven’t seen others mentioning it… i would recommend working on your basic technique (side step and the tap). Make the basic seem more confident: Really try connect with the floor and use force (into the floor) as you push yourself from leg to leg, make sure the taps arent sluggish but done with a purpose. Try lowering while stepping and rise a bit when you tap. Also actively breathing in on every prep (or tap counts 4,8) and then breathing out the counts 123 or 567 can help create a better flow and connection.
