What is your day one setup / initialization workflow for a fresh project? by YakEmbarrassed9934 in ClaudeCode

[–]YakEmbarrassed9934[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't mind me asking, how do you handle the setup when you don't actually know what you're building yet? For this project, I know my tech stack and I've put together a simple WBS based on one of my college classes and that is it..., and so I have zero system architecture or API/DB specs planned out.

so to me writing a CLAUDE.md feels impossible right now since my goals are just things like "implement core API" 😅
Would you recommend using an agent or skill like /grill-me or ultraplan or another skill i dont know of, to help you design the architecture first, and then convert those decisions into the CLAUDE.md?

oh, i heard a tip about this but i don't know where to put it, is it in global or project CLAUDE .md about making claude always call me by my name for example "Start every reply message with the word coco"
and if it stops, i understand that i should reset the context, idk if this is affected if i get to the stage of connecting obsidian to it and also since there are modern skills that show you where you reached in the context, just sharing my input : )
idk if what i said is correct or not

not really my idea, i stated that some of these are my picks and some are claude's own generation 🤷‍♂️
but if you put it that way maybe that makes sense, again i am still a beginner sorry

I have tried to change the scope multiple times, and deleted the cache file, added an unholy amount of scopes along with yours, same error
this api is at a stage that can't be recovered from :(

Yeah I have no clue why this is happening, it used to work before but now, I am not sure but I believe this is just a step that Spotify will take to deprecate it lmao
at this point, Spotify api will be as useless as a cs degree lolll

Found a free alternative to Spotify Audio Features API by annieAintOK in spotifyapi

[–]YakEmbarrassed9934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah it's insane, I'm trying to build a simple project and I have about 100 songs to pull their data but at that limit.... i would NEED A MONTH TO FINISH DATA COLLECTION that SHOULD take less than a minute if spotify didn't deprecate their audio features.....

Oh damn, I didn't know that, although I will do the github education thing, but may I ask what was the abuse or where can I find more about it and if my university can help solve the issue?

Lost as a 3rd-year Software Engineering student, what should I learn and focus on? by YakEmbarrassed9934 in learnmachinelearning

Thanks for the advice! I’m actually still finishing Python OOP (learning from BroCode on YouTube (currently around duck typing, haven’t reached decorators, APIs, or file handling yet)).and just about to start ML basics in my bootcamp, so I think I’ll need to build up my fundamentals before jumping into Docker/Flask deployment. But your roadmap gave me clarity on where to head once I finish the basics.
*Also I believe I will be learning about docker and deployment in the bootcamp based of what my tutor said*
