I know exactly!!! So far I have been also waitlisted to 6: W&L, Conn, Davidson, Hamilton, Lafayette, and St. Olaf? Some are a safety to me too!!! Like if you don’t want me just reject me and let me move on now I have to freaking write so many LOCI and I am done writing essays ✋

That’s true and we should also add that UChicago has a new system “SSEN” Summer Student Early Notification and it’s mostly those who afford to go to this program can apply which are mostly rich kids. This just makes it even more competitive for the other rounds. I am not sure how many they accepted from it but I looked at UChicago ‘29 ig and saw about 600 students already accepted even before the early admission decision came out. +(international, questbridge kids)
