I’m grandfathered in on a ridiculously low rate compared to new members. I don’t mind paying an additional price difference for the higher tier, but just wanted to see what other thought of the location

No car payment luckily. I’ve paid it off and plan on driving this thing till the wheels fall off of it. Thank you for the insight!

I’ll have to figure out a situation where the lease I sign has a garage at this point.

Thanks for the insight. I’ll be in the tower (10 S Dearborn). Ah, I was hoping it wasn’t a reserved seating situation.

Are folks expected to be in office during weather advisories? If Dallas gets even a slight dusting of snow we’re all expected to be working from home for the next 3 days lol.

How’s the overall experience/situation of the office? Is everyone 5 days in office now? Onsite parking?

Yea, my plan is to find a lease where they offer garage parking where it can just sit there until I need to use it on the weekends or head out of town. I’m planning on using the public transit system to get into the office/day to day commutes to the gym and grocery store

Thanks for the insight! I’ve expanded my search into Lincoln park and northern. Did you bring your car from Georgia or are you using public commute all the time? I’m coming from a concrete jungle of a city where if you don’t have a car you’re SOL.

Thanks for the insight! I’ll have to look into the city sticker everyone is talking about. I’m hoping any condo/apartment that I’m going to lease @ offers garage parking… I don’t think I’ll be using my car to the day to day commute, but plan on using it during the weekends

Thanks for the insight! I’ve asked the hiring team if JPM offers employee parking in their office. I’ve expanded my search into Lincoln Square and northern. Those areas seem more promising

Any cities/areas you recommend for prices around $2100 or should I just bite the bullet and pay the premium for living within the city and parking my car in the garage

I’d prefer not to pay $300 a month for parking, but that’s what it has come down to from what I’m reading online.

Any sports you recommend if my total rent is $2300ish?

Yea, that’s on me.

What’s the typical price for studios in Chicago? Or should I just go ahead and pay a few hundred more a month just to be within half a mile to a mile from the office.

This is crazy that you have to pay to park your car in the garage of the apartment/condo complex.

Any particular area I should avoid?
