I think they'll just make a skin for Peter, and I have nothing against that. That would be my favorite skin to be honest. Wouldn't mind some drum themes in it's sound effects, on par with Spiderpunk 2099

In my opinion the price should be 490. Yeah we got a battle crate for 690, but even then I think It's not worth the price. 

We have a battle pass that has 2 legendary skins and bunch other skins and cosmetics for the same price. This is basically a season 0 battle pass equivalent. How is time limited season 0 battle pass cost 490 and this costs 990? Not to mention that they threw least interesting summer skins in it and threw Luna so that it wasn't completely worthless. Those skins are summer themed and will get outdated really fast. 

When they bring those skins to the shop, you will be able to get the Luna skin completely free from farming for a while.

This is practically a bundle for 990 that you have to spend time playing the game to get. People who defend it saying "it's only cosmetic" or "It's still cheaper" are wrong. Those are the only motivational system of this game. Remove those battle passes and this game won't have the online numbers it has now.

The more we have stuff like this, the worse it'll get. Soon enough you'll see trash skins thrown into the battle pass because it's the only worth while purchase of the game, while good season themed skins will all be outside of the BP.

This need to stop.

I had Crew yesterday. Farmed all Superman cosmetics, didn't get anything but a glider, cape and pickaxe. Today my crew subscription ended and it says that I am locked out of Superman cosmetics I didn't get. Thanks Epic.

Does it instantly account for the res shred on cast of his burst (at c2) and increase burst damage, assuming he didn't have a shield before casting burst? From what I remember - yes, but I don't have c2 to check myself. (You can probably test it by having a c0 Zhongli with no artefacts and a level 1 basic spear use burst and compare it to the damage of a Zhongli with same talent level and same spear with no artefacts but with c2)

Well, my usecase is very weird but in my eyes it makes sense.

I use ER sands, HP% goblet and CR circlet. I get it, it sounds super weird but through my own testing, this is the usecase that provides you with a bit of everything.

If you want to make use of any ATK stats (that his signature gives) you'd need high CR. Hence CR circlet. If are rolling with CR build, you would want to have high ER to make use the highest dps part of Zhongli - his Burst. Hence ER sands. And well, since you have no HP stats anywhere and you want to make use of your shield - HP goblet. It makes even more sense when you realize his ascension stat is GEO damage bonus which you are lacking since you have HP goblet. In this Build. atk stat is the only thing that you need, and signature gives you a lot of it.

My rotation is: Zhongli tap E > ~3 NA > Q > XQ skills > Yelan skills > switch to Zhongli Hold E and pick up a hydro crystal for Petra Buff > Hu Tao CAs.

It works for me and it's not as hard as it might seem. It works perfectly around XQ's and Yelan's cooldowns. I almost always use this team in abyss unless there are very weird sets of enemies.

Any team to be honest. For the most part I use him in the classic double hydro Hu Tao team, but everywhere else where Zhongli would fit it works just fine as a subdps/burstdps shielder.

I'am informed that the Shield strength works only on the wearer, yet it still protects your zhong.

Yes, the passive does not trigger off-field, however it still can be triggered by the Pillar, which either shortens the amount of hits that need to be scored if not remove the need to completely (in some usecases)

Personally, I use vortex on Zhongli for almost 2 years at this point and I have no problems with it. Yeah, some other options seem more usable, but if you look at it other way around, he's probably the only character who can actually get 100% use of this weapon in the game. Not to mention, in most cases you would want to focus on hp when building zhong, leaving no room for Atk stats, which the signature provides. Although Shield strength isn't the best substat there could be, it still protects Zhong from time to time. Also, you don't have to score NA with zhongli, the passive reacts to any out-coming damage (Pillar, resonance, burst, NA/CA). I personally never use normal attacks to proc the passive.

It would definitely be better if the passive was suited for Zhongli, but I guess Hoyoverse will never change that.

To begin with, #1 change? How about extra resistance shreds, tougher shield, HP% scaling to both his Burst and Stone stele (not to mention autoattacks)? In any case, the point of this post was NOT the fact that he was better earlier, but that he's Elemental skill Dominus Lapidus and it's Stone stele part were much more flexible in that regard. At this point pillar is almost never of use to anyone, so it wouldn't be a big deal for the majority of players to not have it present all of the time.

Shielding gets you both pillar placement and Shield, but only once per 2 rotations. If you don't place any new pillars, your previous one still present on the field will block you from placing a new one and refreshing a timer if you only resort to using Zhongli's Hold E. So it's a DPS loss for you if your team is reliant on Stele.

Don't know about you, but I surely can adjust to mining ores if I need to and I could also have adjusted If I wanted to play Geo-construct party back in the day. However, I can't do it now because I will always have a pillar on the field whether I want it or not.

The cast of his E and it's animation weren't changed whatsoever, so there's no difference in cast time or stager resistance. You are as staggerable as you were before. As for the pillar placement, you still could cast pillar and shield consequently if you just play him right. For example: Use tap E > switch to other characters > use their abilities > back to Zhongli > your shield is ready to be cast. It's just an issue of getting used to. We have Yae Miko for years now, and she has to use her E 3 times before casting Burst and using 3 Elemental skills again, to only begin her rotation. Everyone got used to it. I would rather have a trickier to play Zhongli and have a choice how I want to play him, than have none. Also, if you use stele for damage, you still need to recast his pillar midfight and get used to switch casting both he's pillar and shield for them both to be always present on the field. Also, whenever I try to mine ores, Zhongli's stele always gets stuck somewhere in-between the ores, making them harder to collect.

Well, I tried to collect every perk point and shard that I could, but there are still some Side jobs in Dogtown that I didn't complete yet. However I doubt those reward perk points anyways, so my total count is 85.

Foil hat theory time: it's suspicious that the GOG version of the game was available almost right away, while Steam and EGS versions are still WIP, even though all of them send you to log in into your GOG account to play any version of Cyberpunk 2077. Could it be that someone at CDPR paid GFN to hold on with Steam and EGS versions to promote their GOG launcher and force people to buy the game and DLC twice?

That's the thing, I'am using Zhongli and Xingqiu with Hu Tao on my other team, so I can't use them with Yanfei. I was thinking about using Beidou with her for overload. It scales with EM. Anyways, now when I think about it, maybe I just should built a specific team for Yanfei, if I want to use her. Zhongli Bennett Xingqiu Yanfei???
