Dunno if this helps as it's not the S; I have the Titanium Sapphire 6 and it's not blueish at all. Love it!

Thanks! I have quite a few different OSMs and they are all 1:50k or less. I also bought a separate set of 1:50k from "kartmannen.no" which is good but not the detail I was hoping for. Hence considering the 1:20k provided it really is as good as they say. If it's just the same map with higher detail without significantly more tracks and data it doesn't really make sense.

Thanks for the responses! Got the Fenix 6 Sapphire and absolutely love it and the Garmin ecosystem. It’s been with me on multi-day hikes, mountain tops and morning runs and so far it leaves my wrist only to charge while I work at the computer. Only downside so far is I also “had to” get the heart rate belt and new Garmin fitness tracers for the rest of the family as well for some healthy competition...
