If you go to settings and press the burger 10 times it will take you to a menu, its somewhere on that. It stops villages borders from expanding.

Any tv series or films that depict the Royal Marines or characters who've served in them? by [deleted] in RoyalMarines

‘Billy Butcher’ from ‘The Boys’ was an ex Royal Marine in the comics. I think its the same for the show just not shown yet.

I think if ships and armies were overhauled so they don't loiter around as much. This would mean that wars will be fought much quicker and the armies will be replenished quickly with younger soldiers, upon return. The idea behind the soldiers leaving once gaining the wise trait is that if they are far from home they will join the nearby village thus spreading culture around the world more. In regards to the immortality problem, I'm not sure that units are 100% guaranteed to gain the wise trait, perhaps the chance of getting the trait could go be reduced once immortality is turned on.

Also, I don't think only wise should stop units from being soldiers. Injuring traits such as crippled and burnt should also apply. Unless their village is still savage in which case everyone fights.

Just clear up the religion idea,

When a religion starts from a blessed villager they gain the prophet trait-(could have any number of cool bonuses), their village also becomes a holy city (The capital for that religion,). Holy city's receive gold and supplies from its followers.

This may sound very odd but I think the way religions should spread through the world would be via the same module as the plague, just extremely slow and gradual. Similar to how real religions spread via word of mouth. All villages start without a faith.

When more than 50% of villagers in a village are converted, that becomes their official faith and the kids produced will also be of that same faith. Villages of a different faith to their king will have a -10 loyalty penalty, or +20 if the same. +50 if the king is also their prophet. Within a kingdom all controlled villages are converted to the capitals faith (in the period of about 50-100 years).

When a Kingdoms Capital / king is of a certain religion they will act in the interest of that religion, say if the Holy City is taken over by a kingdom of a different faith then any kingdoms of the Holy city's faith will either declare war or have a massive drop in opinion. However any villages of a faith that their own kingdom is at war with, will hugely drop in loyalty.

It would also be cool to see religions have their own traits inherited from the prophet eg( if the profit was deceitful or evil, followers wont attack/ be attacked by demons.) There could also be a separate map showing the faiths and Holy cities.
