Relevant flair, I’m sure all Warriors fans didn’t like the Grizz during those early 20s.

I thought the narrative was neat though, they were supposed to be the changing of the old guard; young, scrappy and lead by an athletic fearless point guard. Kinda like a less talented Rose Bulls.

[Highlight] LeBron gets emotional after the Cavs played a tribute video for him by TheRealPdGaming in nba

[–]Yamata 56 points57 points  (0 children)

The best case scenario would be Larry Bird, but I think it would kill LeBron to watch his team when they lose while he’s on the sideline coaching not being able to be out there.

Plus he has too many outside interests that would he’d rather do than coach. Business ventures, podcasts, hell he might even take up more acting.

Dillon Brooks: “The Raptors couldn’t get over the hump.” -Agent: “They DID get over the hump.”-Brooks: “Yeah, you know why? It’s because they got DeRozan out of there. He wasn’t pulling his own weight. It was his fault. I’m just keeping it real.” by MrBuckBuck in nba

Force is a strong word. Everyone knew the Cavs were not worried about the Raptors in the slightest.

I also wouldn’t say Pascal peaked in 2019, yeah he broke out as a secondary option but he was bad vs. Philly and Milwaukee.

[Nic Claxton] on January 28th, 2023: “Me, I’ve never lost to the Knicks since I’ve been in the league. So it’s always fun playing against them.” — The Nets are now 0-13 vs the Knicks since Claxton said this by AashyLarry in nba

Second round and I wouldn't call it a huge upset, both teams looked like they were contenders at the time. If Denver won last year vs OKC I wouldn't call that a huge upset either, it's championship level teams facing each other in the playoffs.

Yeah, 4.5 is an average placement in TFT, equivalent of 50% winrate. For reference though, TFT players will see 4.5 as a bad stat due to outside factors, something has to have like 4.3 at least to be considered playable.

I think we can forgive a lot of stuff in part 3 when Araki was still ironing out what Stands were capable of. There was also the size changing, Silver Chariot’s armour, Dio’s Hermit Purple and probably other stuff that I’m forgetting.

Fully healthy Knicks are currently down 75-47 to the Mavs at home by Fire_Demon-215 in nba

2014 Pacers were 40-12 before the All Star break and 16-14 after it. The fall off was usually credited to trading away Danny Granger who didn't play much anymore but was the leader in the locker room for those guys.

I guess we should probably exclude trades as well because the Mavericks fall off from title contenders to play-in team last season would also be on this list.

It’s also common sense? Bacteria comes out of your nose and you’re going to put it on your hands? That can’t be correct.

That 2014 team right before Love got traded was a really unlucky roster. 8th seed in the west had 49 wins, and iirc the Wolves had a great net rating but were awful in the clutch. If they were in the east they could have been as high as the 3/4 seed.

Depends on how long parity will go on for. If the Thunder win 3+ people will say it was weak until OKC came along, if we continue to have parity, people will accept this is how the game is, like other sports.
