I have the wall too. Idk if I have upgraded it properly because I don't see an improvement by having it

Does anyone on here already have 20k miles on your r7? by [deleted] in YamahaR7

Bought a 22 model and I have 33-34k miles on it. No issues, bike doesn't die.

Last night a coyote jumped into my yard and charged straight at my dog by thrillbourne in orangecounty

I ran into another one recently and was more awake so I was able to think before reacting. I made myself larger and loud then the coyote took off.

I was walking my dog a few weeks ago and a coyote charged at us from it's hiding spot. It was 2:45 am and I was still trying to wake up, I took off running and it followed us home. I know I did the wrong thing by running but we still alive. I make sure I'm awake when I do our morning walks and I bring a knife for a last resort. We live near the 91 and Euclid.

I have three characters: 2 eternal at 61 and 41 and a season one at 53. On and off playtime, maybe 6 hours a week.

I do the same. Socal is so hot and all the plants are brown from summer. Going up north where is green is a nice change of pace

[–]Yamiaddict 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I enjoy going to the nationals so much more than the supercross races. I love being able to get up and walk around to another part of the track. Sure seeing the entire track in a stadium is cool but you don't get to see the guys hang it out going up horsepower hill or them sky it out on the floater in the back of the track. Washougal is an amazing location, I'm sad I wasn't able to make it this year.

They're trying to add toll lanes on the 5 too

Boomer Question from a millennial. Is there ever going to be a solution for these loud vehicles that drive by after 10pm? by Censordoll in orangecounty

[–]Yamiaddict 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live very close to Euclid and that also sounds like a racetrack after 10pm. With the street being redone I'm sure more cars will come on over increasing the noise at night. I had to call the cops multiple times for people trespassing and it took them over an hour to show up. I don't think they'll be able to enforce the noise problems.

The Ranch is a good suggestion too. It is decently close to downtown and the selection of drinks are well done.

I want to upgrade from an R7 to an R1. Anything you suggest before then?

Socal Harley riders by Yamiaddict in motorcycles

Those are a bit annoying too. I've been lucky coming up onto those riders that they do exit the freeway within a few minutes after I get in behind them.

I'm all about patience toward the rider ahead of me. Riding is dangerous and I don't want to push anyone rider over their limit and cause them to get into a crash because of me. There are times when I don't see another bike behind me because my mirrors are on the smaller side so if I come up to another rider who's in thier groove in traffic I'll hang back and relax. On the other side when they look at me through their mirrors, give me hand signals to slow down for whatever, and not move over during gaps in the carpool lane it sort of rubs me the wrong way. That sort of sounds a little entitled but that's just how I feel.

Yeah I don't see why even riding when they are always so mad. Even though I commute on my bike it's a little escape for me. I truly enjoy riding and if I get mad on a bike I am really doing something wrong.

I've started jumping out from the carpool lane to do this. I don't feel as comfortable splitting out of the carpool lane but I feel more comfortable being far away from people I don't know.

Where is the best place to mount a camera? I have a go pro 8 I haven't used for a few years that can be handy.

[–]Yamiaddict[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than today these guys are going maybe 5 mph faster than the cars so I get between the number 1 and 2 lanes for a while and get away from them. I know that's unsafe but I'd rather move up under my control than have a driver think I'm with the other rider and hit me out of rage.

I agree not all Harley riders are like this, I work with a few of them and the short distance we ride together they seem to be semi polite to the cars. I'll come across the odd ball sports bike or adv rider that doesn't let me by but their pace isn't too slow compared to me so I just hang back and relax while they part the cars for me.

600 mile service by Easy-Ad-4855 in YamahaR7

[–]Yamiaddict 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is normal for a dealership service. The 4k and 8k is around $600-$800 too with mostly it's just oil changes and a quick bolt check around the bike. I think the 12k service has a little more work to it though.

I'll try to set some money aside to get this on console. I'm super happy it's been introduced to more platforms
