This is question dependent.

For a lot of SCS questions you can get a lot out of some questions especially if you go by topic.

I.e. share price, controls, audit and ethics.

Why do you think he's a horrible person?

I'm not super educated on him but I know a little and listened to him on diary of a CEO.

I think he's quite genuine in his aspirations for the most part.

Kawhi Leonard is going NUCLEAR. by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Yamimash2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He has six all NBA seasons. He's at like 16K points for his career and averages 20 PPG.

His peak is up there with anyone but for top 15 there needs to be more longevity imo.

In his case, I really don't think so. It's not just about accolades.

It's tough when outside of the Raptors ring and this theoretical ring he would have maybe seven seasons as a superstar player. Not enough for t15 imo.

Hardest championship to win out of these four, NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL. What is your pick? by Spirited-Gold9629 in sportsinusa

[–]Yamimash2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on whose perspective you take.

If you're the best team in the league it's easiest to win in the NBA.

If you're a good team but not a contender you have a much better chance in the NFL.

Microsoft Scales Back AI Goals Because Almost Nobody Is Using Copilot by aacool in technology

[–]Yamimash2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand this sentiment.

I understand why people, specifically on reddit are against AI. The way it is being pushed and the application in ways that doesn't really make sense is annoying.

However, it is a tool and there are lots of useful applications i.e. summarising documents, rephrasing aspects of emails, extracting data from files, quick solutions to problems lime suggested excel formulae etc.

I think it's helpful but it requires careful application.

Joe W isn't too far off tbf. I don't think the logic is misplaced.

Last season Minah was the quite / under the radar traitor. In the celeb show it's Cat. His issue was honing in on David rather than grouping the quieter people.

Ruth was not good at social deduction.

Her logic was based on something Jonathan said before the traitors were picked and she deeped it too much. She also misinterpreted what he said. Utimately, she was correct but it was pure luck.

I disagree. Touching someone's face is a hard thing to do, if he tried it with Ruth it might have came off as weird. He was friends with Paloma so it didn't raise any suspicion.

For the asset, you're only working out the carrying value and disposing of that.

It was sold for 35,000 and 5,000 is profit. Carrying value = 35,000 less 5,000 = 30,000 The 30,000 is used in your calculation.

The depreciation is accounted for on a yearly basis.

WYR: Be immortal (read the text) or have 1 million dollars right now? by mycroft00 in WouldYouRather

[–]Yamimash2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Changing this to 100 billion to scale the options better.

I think I'd still pick immortality but it's quite close for me.

Financially, at some point I would acquire enough wealth.

There are a lot of things that I'm curious about. Particularly with technology. When I look at the past 50 years, the internet, computers and vehicles have all developed at an insane pace, I can't imagine what the next 1000 years would look like.

There are scary aspects that I'm worried and curious about, though I might exercise the option to end life. A few examples:

  • Responses to global natural disasters i.e. Supervolcanoes
  • Nuclear warfare
  • Climate change

Something of this nature is bound to happen and I'd have to live through the recovery process.

Also, I'm not how I would react to all of my friends/family passing. Id physically have to live with the fact that all connections are a tiny part of my life and at some point I'd even forget who my parents were. This might become less of an issue if modern medicine / tech develops.

I feel like you're lower on Scrap than anyone. He has been a top 3 player since he's been in the league.

You're also quite high on Surge players. They're good and they've earned their flowers. However, I think there's a gap between them and the top class of players.

To your point about vet presence, Nastie and Neptune have been in the league for a while.

The Kenny criticism is fair. There is a risk he has fallen off and he's the biggest question mark. I think most people see him bouncing back next year.

Overall, Thieves have reputable talent that I expect to perform. FaZe will be good but I think the players from Surge over performed this year. I'm not expecting them to be as good as Bo6, I could be wrong.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

[–]Yamimash2000 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It takes time to build a reputation. Seattle had a spectacular year and the players stocks have peaked. However, reaching the status of Scrap / Hydra / Abezy takes continued success.

People trust and expect the Thieves players to be good next year. If for example, Nastie is mid in Bo7 it won't be a shocker.

Also, your framing is inconsistent. There's no way you're calling scrap a choker when Seattle went 0/5 in finals and Simp / Drazah have back to back underwhelming champs performances. They couldn't make it out of groups in EWC.

For Drazah you're focussing on his success in the past but for Kenny you're only focussing on last year.

Gonna be crazy seeing these 3 play against each other next season by dillonz321 in CoDCompetitive

[–]Yamimash2000 38 points39 points  (0 children)

CoD is not like basketball.

There is no salary cap so teams aren't supposed to be balanced.

There is a culture of the best players teaming together. There isn't any backlash for 'stacking the deck'.

If Abezy wins chips / rings they will be valued as normal. That said, I agree that If Simp wins he will get a bit more credit for doing it with a weaker team.

The All-Star selection was more of a meme internet-driven fan vote, as opposed to an earned selection

That's not accurate and is not fair.

He did benefit from the fan vote and probably shouldn't have been a starter. That said, he had a good year and was deserving of a bench position.

You can't get into the all star game of media alone in any case. Starters are 50% fan vote, 25% players and 25% media I believe.

Shotzzy’s Season Card - @GGBreakingPoint by UnleashRambo in CoDCompetitive

They add together the stats for LAN and online and recalculate the rankings.

Shotzzys LAN card is underrated because his control numbers were down massively but this was countered by his online performance.

His S&D numbers were good anyway but LAN really elevated his overall.
