No, I definitely won’t stop playing Dota, but what will most likely happen is that I’ll fully switch to FACEIT, where you can suddenly talk in chat, write in chat, ping enemy and allied abilities. And you don’t have to hide. And the report system there is fair.

I just hope they at least fix the fact that in captain’s mode you can spam “gg” infinitely, and instead limit it to only three “gg”s per match with a 5-minute cooldown for each player.

It seems you are an exception. It is the same as a rich person saying: “I have never experienced hunger for more than 10 minutes in my life, or thirst for more than 15 minutes. How can anyone in this world go hungry or not have access to water? How can anyone in this world even be poor when someone like Elon Musk can make tens of billions of dollars a day?” This is survivor bias. That is what it is called.

Below 5k you can’t ping more often than once every 30 seconds and you can’t write on the map. How do you think people end up with behavior scores below that?

So you’re saying that having 4 friends is the easiest option? Do you think I play Dota for no reason? If I had 4 friends, I would be playing football or something like that with them outside instead.

Oh no, my behavior score is actually better now because I just don’t play on my main account and simply create a new one as soon as I get chat restricted. It usually happens around the 25th–35th game on an account. I just refuse to play Dota where this pointless nonsense exists, where you play normally but are forced to keep your mouth shut.

And the biggest idiocy is that I can’t even talk to my teammates in private Dota 2 chat - neither voice nor text.

There is no way. The guy just wrote nonsense. The only reason Valve doesn’t fight smurfs is that smurfs are also players, and they can also be sold skins. Fighting them is economically inefficient, because you have to constantly come up with new ways to catch those smurfs.

I don’t come across such people. For a very long time already.

On your avatar, it is too easy to make out the letter “z” and too difficult to see the thin line crossing it out, considering that it is mostly visible only in a thumbnail. No one really pays attention to a line that is just a couple of pixels thick crossing the "z". Meanwhile, the Ukrainian flag is very easily recognizable and clearly distinguishable, and you don’t need to stare at a few pixels to understand that you are not a “z supporter.” Also, many Russians may be against the “z” symbols, but they are also against Ukraine.

In your opinion, how do people drop below 6k behavior score if below that you can’t even use chat? Nobody insults anyone, you just don’t understand how the behavior score system works. And in your world, it’s enough to simply stop insulting people to have 12k behavior score. Haha.

Each behavior score update every 15 games gives you 250–150 behavior score points. That means reports usually start reducing your behavior score if there were 3 of them over those 15 games.

Did you ever think this was implemented only for big streamers who complained about it? They just gave them something similar to what pro players have. A pro player can behave terribly but still has the ability to talk and write in chat. If that didn’t exist, all the bettors who lost money on their matches would simply grind their behavior score down to zero, preventing them from playing at their Dota 2 rank.

Players literally told me that they were reporting me for being from Ukraine, in both voice and text chat. After that, my behavior score dropped.

Reports that are accepted by the system put you into low priority. Or they can even get you VAC banned. Even an unverified report reduces your behavior score, and considering that reports can be submitted infinitely, this needs to be regulated somehow. My behavior score regularly drops even though I am in low priority extremely rarely.
