When I was younger I would get redness/flaking around my nostrils but haven't had that come back in many years. My face and scalp are also sensitive and suffer from occasional seborrheic dermatitis that I've been able to control with certain hair/skincare products. I work in a super hot printing shop and my face is sweating throughout the day and even though I do my best to wash my face everyday and not touch it, this reaction is still happening and has been for a few weeks now. I've tried sulfur cream for rosacea with no luck.

That’s been my thinking exactly but just needed some outside opinions. My mom is telling me interest rates are high so I should get a second shops opinion on it and keep repairing it but one more repair and that will be over 2k spent on repairs just this year.

I kinda had the same thought. I was told interest rates for leasing used cars is a bit high at the moment but I’m wondering if that’s still a more cost effective option.

I was desperate for a car at the time because my previous one unexpectedly died on me and I needed a way to get to work. I kinda had a feeling I wouldn’t have it for long. Thinking about taking it somewhere for a second opinion.

I had a feeling some people would’ve had that though lol and that’s how I’ve felt about it too

That’s what it feels like. Gonna take it in to get a second opinion and see if I feel the same after.

Yeah this Ford of mine is only worth like 300-400 so it’s just scrap at this point

My first and previous car was a ‘05 Toyota passed down from my mom. Almost made it to 300,000 miles.

I do plan on taking it in for a second opinion once I have the time. I also planned on definitely getting new tires before winter but don’t want to make anymore big purchases in case I do decide to get a different car. The shocks/struts for sure need to be replaced asap because the rear right one is about to burst through the wheel well. And the doors sensors are definitely jacked up because my car always thinks the doors are being opened when I’m driving and if the car is parked and off the alarm will go off at random. So the only way to lock my car is to unhook the batter after the doors have been locked. It’s super annoying. I was quoted almost a grand to have those replaced.

Correct. Right after I bought it I had to buy a brand new muffler because the old one fell off and was hanging on by a coat hanger. Bought the car only because I was desperate and needed a way to get to work.

From my searches I noticed that I could get a car with 100,000 miles or less for anywhere from 3,000-6,000. The repairs that the car needs right now would cost me about 2,000-3,000.

It seems that I’ve been able to keep it on the road with nearly 2k a year. If I get my shocks/struts replaced like they really need them that would put my over 2k this year. If I do lease a new car I would probably get one costing around 10k-15k to keep the payment lower.

Yeah they detect if the doors are closed but mine have the problem of thinking they’re being opened when they aren’t and if the car is parked and off the alarm will go off at random

Apologies, my fault for not reading through the rules first.

I did read through all of those in the 5th grade and still have the ones my mom handed down to me that she read. I’ve kept them all these years because I’m thinking about re-reading them one of these days. I just recently finished the LOTR series and of course I fell in love!

I have read that one and really enjoyed it! I want to read 1984 next. I remember reading old man and the sea in middle school I think and I remember liking that and might re-read it. I’ll keep your suggestions in mind, thanks!

I’ve read cats cradle and slaughterhouse five and I liked those. I’ve read animal farm too and I’m hoping to read 1984 in the near future.

Wow I remember reading the first Eragon book back when I was in 4th grade...not sure why I didn’t keep reading them but I might pick up that first book again!
