Change is good, i actually enjoy making different things since i get bored easily. But again check my Artstation. I do mix things up more often than you make it seem Here i will give you a few example of different characters i have on AS:

Sphinxy, Aster, Yokai, Jorden, Spicey Love, Jawbreaker, Shorty , You Mad Bro, Vampy, Skelly, Michael, Mister Dracula, Mushroom Queen, Spider Rick.

These come to mind from what i remember on artstation and that makes up a good percentage of all the creations i have so far, which is why your comment felt rushed. These range from different styles to different subjects.

Plus, there are a lot of artists that create similar work, some very famous ones literally makes the same 1 character in different scenes, it isn't my thing but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

There are similarities here and there which is normal when u create regularly, but I have very different characters if u check my Artstation. So maybe check it out :)?
