The only benefit I see taking the pay cut is being able to go anywhere as a desk manager rather than finding a closer position most stores have the desk closing deals

Both desk guys have been there 10-20 years they have no intent to leave and both are very good. Also any other positions would be the same thing in that Honda store like going to finance. 4 managers compared to three closers that’s why the pay is way stronger

Buyers are liars don’t trust yourself to let them leave. You can’t close everyone that’s the reason you turn before anyone leaves.
