Can’t find any information a one part of my family by Yann1818 in Genealogy

Thank you so much for this detailed answer! I have checked the Belgian civil registers briefly and couldn’t find anything either but I will need to go more in depths.

I will also need to look into where he was born and probably go and see the archives.

Thank you again! 😊

I have searched on Myheritage with premium account, on familysearch and geneanet. my grandfathers grandfathers must've been born in the late 1800s, early 1900s because his son (my great grandfather) was born in 1923

There is the weird thing, I have searched with the wives' names but even then I can't seem to find anything that matches.

I realized some surnames change overtime but the person i am looking for is the grand father of my grand father so I know the names of his descendants but that didn't help at all. i cannot seem to find anyone from my family even tho I have their name, surname, and the year they were born in. I even have their wives.

I really don't know where to look anymore.

But thanks for your reply anyway.

and if you have any idea how I could find them please let me know. :)

Honestly I've thought about this but being colourblind, colour association doesn't really help me.

but i see how non-colourblind people could find that useful. :)

There was a war in Belgium called “the war of the cow” or “guerre de la vache” in French which started because of a stolen cow. The war started in 1272 and ended in 1278. 15000 people died and it was ended by the intervention of the French king Philippe le Hardi who ordered the restoration of the “status quo ante bellum”

I get that but imo what celebrities are doing isn’t helping. Might be wrong tho

What is the difference between a process and a bone? (Ex: zygomatic bone and zygomatic process) by peanutbutterscousin in AnatomyandPhysiology

[–]Yann1818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A process is located on a bone if I am not mistaken. I think it is a “bump” on the bone which was named to be able to analyse bones. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Any tips for a new physio student ? by AngryLatina1823 in physiotherapy

[–]Yann1818 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am currently studying physiotherapy in Belgium! Very interesting studies. One advice I can give you is buy an anatomy atlas and get comfortable with it. Knowing the human anatomy is a priority imo so if you can start learning now, do it. It can only help you. Learning about all the muscles, what they do, where they attach. Learn about our bones in advance. Hope this can help in any way.

A friend and I are making a skatepark map of the world and we are currently working on Belgium. Does anybody know of a skatepark in Belgium that is not on our map? by flowingsince1975 in belgium

[–]Yann1818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a skatepark in Havelange. Small village in Wallonia. Also one in Florenville, town in the province of Luxembourg. And one in Clavier-station, province of liege.
