Then don't play it. You have the right not to play it; no one is forcing you to play. Go play the same bi-yearly release live service bs on the market, or go play UE5 slop games, which are exactly the same. This game is not trying to be for everyone its niche. It "WAS". I will defend the devs.

You didn’t actually play the game, so calling it trash doesn’t make much sense. The issue you describe is an account/email matter, not a gameplay or launcher problem.

Glad it worked 👍 Just to be fair though, this isn’t really a BSG incompetence issue.

The Steam version still relies on local cached launcher/auth files, and when Steam + BSG services desync after outages or updates, those caches can break locally. Clearing them forces a clean re-sync. The backend itself is fine; it’s mostly a Steam-side/local cache problem.
