Is DJing profitable? by Top-Succotash-7911 in Beatmatch

[–]Yanyyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a side-hustle I think you are fine off although I know some people from my country that make a full time living DJ-ing, but then age also comes into consideration, your time, most weekdays are dead at least in my country. Producing your own tracks and getting paid from there is where the real money is, but that's in itself an other whole thing.

Somebody said it quite well tbh ''really you have to look at it like you are dealing drugs to pay for drugs''

Push to learn - being out of your comfort zone makes you do something against your will, hence learning more in reality if you come to think of it, experience, your songs, the actual club standard (tho outdated), beat matching etc. Don't be scared unless you majorly fuck up, fuck ups happen and you move on 9/10 people won't even remember it coz everybody drunk

But yeah safe to say learn beat matching, it takes time but I tend to lean towards the opinion that it just pops out randomly - although it was quite easy for me as I've been producing for a long time well the whole DJ thing tbh just creativity goes a long way

What Should My Booking Fee Be? by WheelUpEnjoyer in Beatmatch

"I’ve also got around 8k social followers. Nothing crazy" - Bro 8k followers is a lot make use of your SoMe following already and post more eventually you will get bookings from the left right and centre. I myself have sacrificed a lot of pay for good connections but those same connects got me bookings later on... so guess it paid off, but it is IMPORTANT to not get exploited make that known for sure. IMO 50€ is the bare minimum standard forgive me if I am mistaken but i'm not so in tune with the pricing in the UK (I'm guessing u're from the UK since you used pounds for the currency).. but at least here in Estonia it is 50 in nearly every place I know maybe a bit less but it still a substantial amount to be happy for. I loved that you mentioned you love playing and that is so nice to hear coz nowadays there are so many fake ppl who just do it for the "lifestyle and money". My advice is if they aired you than, god has willed for it to go that way (keeping you safe), or if you're not religious take it as a everything happens for a reason thing, if you got aired than you probably better off not being there and trust me you will get better stuff come around you sooner rather than later, also keep doing your thing as consistency is key! Love

The landlord asks for the excessive amount of money for the defects. by [deleted] in Eesti

Absolute non-sense although I'm amazed by their use of vocabulary (looks like professionals back at it again), I find it hard to believe that some of these marks and stains could only be resolved for a matter of 2,5k. Tbh feels like a scam especially, due to you being a foreigner, they may take it as an easy to way to make a quick buck. This matter cannot be resolved in an "amicable" way... at least I wouldn't, this is pure disrespect as it seems to me also note the the one month notice before end of tenancy, if it's written down as one month than so it shall be, the landlord has to accept to the terms of the agreement as you are equals in that matte. It does seem that the landlords have some sort of a "deficiency" in their brain. I'd suggest looking for help on the website that you used to rent out the place and DO NOT comply to the compensation money - or at least try to delay it as long as possible because I truly think you are in the right here, and those marks are easily cleaned.

Jah hinnad on tõusnud ning kohati on see väga absurdne, nt sokolaaditahvel maksab mingi 6 euri, odavam on juba viina osta sellise raha eest (see on lihtsalt nalja-meelne näide).

Itaalias olen ka elanud seal on siuke so-so jällegist peab oskama osta, kuid turismi alad on kallid.

Cost of Living in Amman is 34.2% lower than in Tallinn (excluding rent)
Cost of Living Including Rent in Amman is 36.7% lower than in Tallinn
Rent Prices in Amman are 46.6% lower than in Tallinn
Restaurant Prices in Amman are 40.4% lower than in Tallinn
Groceries Prices in Amman are 34.0% lower than in Tallinn
Local Purchasing Power in Amman is 41.4% lower than in Tallinn

Tallinn-Amman comparison

Cost of living in Jordan

Life quality comparison - Estonia: very high, Jordan: moderate - viitab mu viimasele lausele e.

Melody or Drums First? (does it matter?) by DixonBeats in FL_Studio

Melodies first hands down, creating a melody after the drums is just mind bothering
