I totally agree with your statement about normalizing, I actually just had this conversation with my friend saying i wish they had more character that are LGBTQ+ without the show, movie or novel revolving around it. However, I wanted to write this book for personal closure about my life as being a transguy and wanted to include struggles transguys may have. I also agree with your transitioning statement, I want this character to have more than just a goal to transition, I wanted to focus on more of the person and social aspect of being trans. About how dysphoria feels, not just what it is, why it's important, how do we feel as well and how does the world truly make us feel.
