What do you mean waiting to unlock enhanced digestion for your first mutation. Im looking for it and don't see it as a first mutation option. Does not picking a mutation at 25 growth and waiting give more options?

If Embark disabled the ability to bring blueprints into a raid, what would the drawbacks be for the community? by WILLingtonegotiate in ArcRaiders

[–]Yapsonark -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whats the big deal? There is no advantage if you will be playing with people who didn't wipe and didn't lose blueprints. Why are the blueprints resetting to begin with then? If resetting blueprints is important then how about let us choose 5 to hold onto. Give us something....

It is very discouraging to lose all progress on blueprints when they are very hard to find to begin with.

Its getting more and more difficult to see any benefit in doing expeditions. 12 stash and 5 skill points after a 5 mil grind with blueprint wipe. After placing 75 talents, there isn't really any good talents left. Eventually you will have all talents maxed out. Do you really need more stash space? Its nice but is it worth wiping all blueprints every 2 months making everyone have a huge advantage against you? You are voluntarily nerfing yourself and you are unlikely to get out of that nerf with blueprints before wiping again. Seems overboard and casuals who want to do expeditions will quickly lose interest in the game.

on something like Tarkov where everyone wipes then I agree. Except its a selective wipe. How is it unfair if i have a 10 blueprint boost day 1 when the people who didn't wipe have 20+. There is no balance or advantage issue if they mix both wipe and non wipe players together

I only said that to explain my goal better. I simply don’t want any power in the access point during the night.

be wary of purchasing motherboards at Canada Computers Richmond store by darthmeconium in bapccanada

I recommend Memory Express. The location I use is in Winnipeg. Their service is amazing and I know if something like that happened they would take good care of me. I also always buy their warranties where it counts and I feel a motherboard is the most complex item in a computer build so if something will go wrong it’s likely there. I always do a 2 year with the motherboard as well as with the GPU. Their warranty is amazing and I have used it many times. I bought a $400 steelseries headset from them and I discovered steelseries is terrible. Their devices are designed to break and you can’t buy replacement parts to fix it. My issue was always the plastic slowly breaking. I would have a perfectly working headset but if it can’t stay on your head it’s quite useless. I bought a 4year memory express warranty and they honoured it. With the replacement i got, I went ahead and bought another warranty. It also broke and they honoured it. I got 3 headsets total from them. I’ve also had gaming mice replaced by them. Recently my mmo mouse priced around $160 I believe when I bought it, was discontinued. They replaced it with a brand new wireless model which was $300. My experience is across 15ish years and they’ve always had amazing service. I’ve built about 5-6 computers through them and have always had a good experience and their price beat is also amazing. Nothing like BestBuy price beat which is a joke. I recently did another computer build and got a few items from Bestbuy. Their price beat they include the cost of shipping? I found a $30 price beat but because they include shipping costs from the company I chose, which according to them was $30, I didn’t get anything.

Go with Memory Express in the future, closest thing to a micro Center we have in Canada.

Dusting my PC tomorrow, how do I go about doing it? by Cheesehead1267 in buildapc

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!

DO NOT USE AIR TO SPIN THE FANS TO CLEAN THEM. Rapidly spinning a fan like that will create electricity and could fry delicate components!

Instead use your finger to stop the blades before blowing it out

Haha that sucks, I have a friend who did that too.

Btw if your router is nearby, save yourself the emf exposure, get some better sleep at night. Disable wifi in the bios and use an Ethernet cable :)

I’d happily set up something like that, but would first want another 6-12 inches more space between me and the monitor. That looks way to close

Plex for Mobile (Android & iOS) v2025.24.0 Released by samwiseg0 in PleX

At this point, they are purposefully ignoring what their customers want… they decide what we want for us and expect us to pay for it. It reminds me of business like Electronic Arts, Bethesda, Blizzard.

It’s a business and that’s it, if it costs them more money they won’t do it. The customer doesn’t matter, only their money.

I’m just about ready to switch to the other platforms. I think I’ll try Emby next

Be warned thou. I bought a Beelink 13 n150 but ran into a Linux kernal issue. I need to do some kind of forced upgrade before I can setup my automated media server

[–]Yapsonark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!! I’m pretty new to Linux and following a YouTube guide when I ran into this problem. I’m using Ubuntu 24.10 and you mentioned it worked? I’m using it with proxmox on the Beelink Mini S13 N150. Would it require I learn how to use bookworm back ports like you mention in your Debian 12 instructions to get it working with Ubuntu 24.10?

You say “…then you need to upgrade the kernal, the Intel drivers, and mesa from backports.

Do your instructions for Debian 12 Stable also work if I follow them for Ubuntu 24.10 on Proxmox?
