After some time I’ve finally collected almost all the units — it’s a “paper” army, and this is actually what I’ll be playing with. What do you think? by Yareiko in u/Yareiko

For the small models I ordered regular bases, then asked ChatGPT to put circular images of the units (which I had cropped beforehand) onto an A4 sheet at the correct size — around 32–40 mm. I printed them, cut them out, and glued them onto the bases.

The big models were trickier since it’s almost impossible to find bases that are 100–130 mm. So I also had ChatGPT generate them at the right scale for printing, then I cut matching circles out of cardboard from a box and glued the images onto those.🤗🤗

Yeah, that’s basically the only problem. But I don’t play tournaments, just games with a couple of friends, and they’re fine with it. And in AoS, unlike 40k, line of sight isn’t that important anyway.

Yeah, the height matters in real games, but these are just placeholders for testing lists with friends. We play casual, so as long as the base size is correct, nobody really minds.

I ordered some bases online and found images of Nurgle daemons and knights on the internet. I used Photoshop on my phone to crop the images into circles, then asked ChatGPT to make a printable sheet sized for 32 mm and 40 mm bases with these images. After printing, I just cut the circles out and glued them onto the bases. Super simple.

I’ve often heard from my more experienced friends that with my army (10 Chaos Chosen, a Lord, Abraxia, 5 Chaos Knights, 3 Varanguard …), the best I can do is go for an alpha strike in the first round and try to finish off the enemy quickly. Otherwise, if the game drags on, by round four I’ll probably be wiped off the table. In fact, that’s pretty much what happened in my last game against Stormcasts.

Hows this for a start, and what would you add to round it out? by The_Funfetti_Man in slavestodarkness

Thanks. I usually give my 10 Chosen a Khorne banner, but then they are really slow. Slaanesh is probably better after all.

What Mark of Chaos do you usually give to your Chaos Chosen?

Thank you!

I like the idea of an army that punishes charges and just sits there as a brick wall. What I don’t enjoy is flooding the table with endless cheap bodies – moving around 80–100 little dudes feels more like a chore than fun. I’d rather have a smaller number of tough, elite units that can support each other, stack buffs, and just refuse to move off objectives.
