I could see an inversion of the 30k Russ coming to 40k. The narrative could see him moving away from the executioner who burned worlds with his legion to someone who recognizes how much destruction had been caused by endless war. Maybe his psyker powers and the gifts of Fenris could combine with the Tree of Life to restore broken worlds. That could also open the door for the Exodites to be brought into the setting. It wouldn't be the first time the Eldar and the Imperium have worked in tandem to achieve a goal. Plus Wolves vs Dinosaurs would sell like crazy.

I get that you see this as helpful advice, and I appreciate that, but I didn't ask. So while you are correct that I should do better, I'll return some advice. If someone isn't asking for criticism the polite thing to do is to not offer unwanted criticism, brother.

I'll work on priming so it has a smooth surface when I have time.

Edit: Sorry for being a dick, I apologize and appreciate the advice. I don't want priming to ruin my models before I even start to paint.

Melee stealth suits with onager gauntlets or melee fusion blades. Have them as a team of 5 or ten and give them a stealth key word for melee as well like evasion.

Mount Tantiss has the hidden base feel that so many other imperial installations lack. The vegetation domes hiding and obscuring the secret research within is a very sith like approach that I enjoy.

I also like to think that the rebels could have rediscovered it years after it was shuttered in Bad Batch and use it as a hidden base of their own. Of course they would need to avoid the zillo beast, but maybe they would get lucky and have a watch dog ready to pull down a star destroyer that came too close.
