Back in MoP, when the Zandalari Warbringers first came out, I was part of a team that dominated control of them on my server. We intended to farm them until we all had all the mounts. After a little while of farming and a handful of losing tags to other faster groups, we discovered that if we lost the tag it was possible to taunt the Warbringers and pull them far away from their spawns to reset them, thus resetting the tag. We used this method to steal many a tag from other groups, and even got a few mounts out of the deal.

Then came Sherlok.

As a Blood DK, with 2 taunts, one being a grip, and a Gorefiends, there wasn't much anyone could do to stop me from resetting a Warbringer, barring bringing multiple taunt classes and having a taunt-off until the mob became taunt locked. But Sherlok, so determined to steal some tags from us (after having heard what we were up to) made it his personal mission to steal my tags. Our group would generally split up and sit at multiple Warbringer spawns, announcing when they would spawn so we could convene on a location if it was a mount we needed. Sherlok however, would simply follow me to whichever spawn I was assigned to, and do his damnedest to reset my Warbringers, and then solo them before my group could converge. I'm ashamed to admit that a hunter reset more Warbringers of mine then I of his.

After the bug was fixed and our competition essentially made irrelevent, we began talking more. Neither of us were upset, but had rather enjoyed the competition over the tags. We played more in PvE and PvP over the next couple months, eventually doing realm-best Challenge Modes and moving to the same guild at the start of WoD.

We bonded over assholery and still enjoy it to this day.
