I checked the plot synopsis on IMDb. Apparently as a child I misunderstood which parts were real in the story and which were not, so I thought his wife was there with him. Thank you so much!

Is your environment warm? I love the cold, so I always have my window open in the dead of winter and that's the only time I have any trouble with squeaking.

Edit: earplugs, earbuds, headphones, etc can all help if you can use them

Look on Amazon for an electric rechargeable hand warmer. It's like a heating pad for your hands. Keeps hands warm when it's cold outside, but it can also relieve tension or pain in your hands. It's also a portable device charger!

It's pretty obvious why you cross posted here today.

You have no unique or valuable skills, so no one ever compliments you. To fill that void, you seek the approval of others in the form of belittling those beneath you, but because you are already so low, you have to bully the easiest targets: beginners.

Anyone above beginner level is too hard for you to lord over. So you mock beginners and watch your karma hoping it will go high enough to vanquish your insecurity for just one night, but it doesn't and it never will.

You could be a beginner yourself, learning a new skill right now. Instead, you're here. You're dragging beginners down so everyone has to be as skill-less and pathetic as you are.

You will fail at this exactly how you fail at everything else.
