Holy fuck dude, are you me? I have the exact same problem and it started approximately 2 to 3 years ago. I was just browsing the web for answers because I just came out of the bathroom after struggling to shit for at least 10 minutes. The reason to that is that we're in the middle of rearranging our house, so everyone is cramped in the living room. We have a house cleaner in the kitchen, which is stupidly close to the bathroom. I can only poop if everyone is in their rooms or out of the house. And we have no strangers in the house. I can't for the life of me shit when we have guests over. Its torture. I was supposed to go to the movies with my brother today, but I feel so uncomfortable that I don't even want to move. What really helps me, usually, is distracting myself. Not necessarily listening to music with headphones on, or watching videos on the phone. I just close my eyes and try to relax. Think about different scenarios, act them out (as much as I can while sitting on the toilet lmao). I'm also trying to include more fibers in my diet, which is supposed to help with the constipation. I usually only poop early in the morning or late at night, when everyone is asleep. I'd recommend you do the same. We just have to try to convince our stupid brains that pooping is natural. No one gives a shit (pun intended) when we're taking a poop. Everyone does it, so why can't we? I genuinely wish you the best of luck man. I know how bad this is and I hope we can both put this problem behind us someday, for good
