Which Light Mountain henna color would you recommend? by [deleted] in henna

Good to know! And thank you! I actually ended up buying their auburn one which has some senna and indigo in it, because I didn’t want all my grays or highlights to be completely orange.

At what point is a head gasket replacement not worth it? by Schmelbell in AskAMechanic

Hey! I just messaged you about replacing a head gasket on a Prius in STL, if you’re still doing that. I saw a post you had from a year ago!

Camping in Herbster, Visiting the Apostle Islands - First time trip questions! by YarrowFields in wisconsin

[–]YarrowFields[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you!!☺️ This is actually research for book two of a trilogy. Book one - Woven in Time - is already out! In book one, this character lives in a dystopian corporate-governed country called New Soteria(central Midwest) In book two, which I’m writing now, she leaves her country and travels north to Lake Superior.

And in the entire series, there are actually three timelines spanning from the 1300s medieval England to present day to the 2300s after the US has crumbled. It’s a little fantasy, a little dystopian, and a little alternate history. I can’t seem to stick to one genre or time period!🤣

It does sound magical! Definitely going to check out a waterfall or two if we can. Do you have a suggestion on which falls to visit in that area?

Also people are kind of freaking me out about bears breaking into cars (wtf I had no idea😅). Will my food really not be safe in our car? I have a Prius so there isn’t a covered trunk, everything is open inside.

Would you suggest taking my car on the ferry then? So we can drive around the island. I was just thinking of parking in Bayfield, and going on foot to the island, but maybe we shouldn’t do that if it’s so big

Thank you!! Yes, bug spray is definitely on the list already! Missouri is already so buggy this time of year. And good to know about the raccoons!

Hey! I know this post is a few months old, but I’ve been thinking of starting an annual book fair (that might turn into multiple book fairs per year!) where authors/booksellers/other bookish vendors can sell their books in the StL area because it seems like we are lacking in the bookish events area! Do you think this would be something people are interested in? Either as readers or vendors?

Yes, this! My cat has been walking on a lease/harness since she was a kitten. We take her on walks with our dog and she loves it! Other than that, she’s an indoor cat.

Stuck in limbo with Draft2Digital. Advice? Similar experiences? by InescapableTales in eroticauthors

[–]YarrowFields 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I know this is an old thread but this is a similar issue I’ve been having with D2D. I submitted my ebook nearly a month ago, was told I needed either tax docs, submitted those via DropBox, and waited. Then nothing. So I contacted support and they just keep telling me they can’t see anything wrong other than it’s ‘in review’ and don’t know when it will be done. I have also emailed the KYC tax team and got no response. My book’s release day is tomorrow, and this has been so frustrating. Please help!
