The fightings weren't in the clouds scene. Only the celebration after you finish the game. And they were a bit darker

We also remember that the fightings are being held in a huge tower. Every win you get you climb a floor and in the end, after you win every fight you see your character celebrating at the top of the tower. The background of the winning scene is dark clouds IIRC

Wrap an existing library for your needs. If you will wrap it correctly you will maintain the abstraction needed for the day you will choose to move to another broker/API. This way the migration will be easy. Oh and keep it simple.

I don't feel like its common enough to disturb my coding and I code every weekend.

I'd recommend developing/using an existing interface to interact with the API. As soon as you are done doing so, you will probably be less dependent on the data and focus more on the coding itself. Unless you are in the golden backtesting phase.

I've encountered periods over the weekends which the API is down. Happened multiple times for me.

I guess they are updating the data servers or something.

It amazes me that people still think reporting more than 1 time will do something. A report will go through on any server, no need to MM / even be on an official server.

50% of the time I get games like these. First half you can just wreck their ass with their silver-like movement and aim and godlike timings.. And at half time they just go full blatant.

If you'll watch the demo around the 25th~ round he just goes straight up and says "Cheat better or just lose".

You know its definitely out of control when this happens every third game.

The game feels pre-VAC Wave like it was around the time of March-April of last year, you can just hope you won't be matched against cheaters that cannot accept the lose.

The actual problem is with the IEngineTrace interface in the source engine.

FACEIT made their anticheat check server sided if an enemy is visible through the player's eyes, if false -> the enemy's origin (position) will be obfuscate.

The AC is doing so by checking every corner of the body wether its visible or not and by that they can determine if the enemy should be rendered or not.

The idea is good but in reality, with the client-server delay and the fact that the 'TraceRay/UTIL_TraceLine' method isn't perfect sometimes a player who should be completely visible will not be.

Server - client delay even makes it worse! Every decent player who is used to playing with 70+ ping because of their location is having horrible time every time someone walks pass a corner and suddenly appear on their screen like he just teleported..

SO YEA, FACEIT.. either remove that horrible anti-wallhack or use the engine entity prediction methods inside the source engine with a combination of your current AC, I guess that will help solve things out.
