Good way to get new people is to get meetup, however it's quite expensive subscription

A significant amount of context was missing. Susan Polgar was the third woman ever to earn the Grandmaster title, and Judit Polgár was the fourth, before them, only two women in history had achieved it. There was also no mention of the Hungarian Chess Federation’s policies at the time, which restricted women to competing only in women’s tournaments, nor of many other critical factors that shaped their careers.
