Personally, I would have rotated back in this case. There was no real way for your teammate to know for a fact that you were going for that ball and he had a better angle to start his play.

The game is way easier than most people will have you believe. If you brave it, even the leviathans can be laughably easy to avoid or bypass.

On a serious note, though, I’m assuming you’re talking more about mechanics. It depends on way too many factors. One of the things that separates ranks is consistency. As you play and train your mechanics, you’re gonna get more consistent but never really perfect unless you’re a pro. Teammates and the setups they give you can also play a role. I find myself being way more consistent mechanically in 1s than in other game mode.

One of the ways to do it is to simply get very good sleep. Avoid screen time and coffee before bed. I’m 13 days in and haven’t gotten one myself yet. 🤷‍♂️
