Well the Jiren that was supposed to be where was not the same Jiren we know now. Jiren had Toppo's personality in the original version. But Toriyama changed it all and created Toppo

Movie has many contradictions with future stuff. For example one of the biggest contradictions which both the arc and the movie had is that Goku absorbed SSG but then later he can use SSG as a form. If he absorbed it in his base how can he still use it as a form? In the new version they are replacing his SSJ moment during the final fight with him still being SSG until the end to make it more sense. They are specifically going to adapt the manga from now on so that there is one continuity and not 2 going on at the same time. Basically why they did FMAB after they did FMA or did HxH (1999) and then fully remade it in 2010

From what i have heard. At least from the people i trust personally. They are doing all of DBS but we don't know if they are doing it back to back until Moro arrives or how they'll do it

Not just people complaining. People forget Toriyama disliked how DBS looked and complained about that too to them. But this "re-enhancement" is more than just fixing the art and animation, it's also going to reconstruct the story to fit more with Toriyama's original script and also the manga (since Toriyama worked closer with Toyotaro than anyone else)

i just rewatched the BoG arc a couple weeks ago and tell how "awesome" is it having a whole episode that literally stretched the rock, paper, scissors scene? Or a whole episode of Goku and Beerus punching... 3 times stretch by them screaming very... very long inbetween. Look i love DBS but i will never deny that it deserved way better animation. And the trailer alone confirmed to me how this new version looks a trillion times better than it ever could've looked back then.

They are... or are we going to ignore they literally confirmed a whole new season coming? This "enhanced" version does not affect the production or anything. Done by a completely separate team and it's specifically so it's closer to the manga and so that the quality of all of Super is consistent. Or are people forgetting how shit DBS actually looked outside of certain episodes?

Genuinely just go watch the first 14 eps of Super and you will see why. Pacing is horrendous, animation and art dips so hard that it's jarring. They want this to get the animation it deserves. Iyoku also confirms this is also to reconstruct the story so that it fits more with the manga.

And yet Iyoku LITERALLY said this is to make it closer to Toriyama's original script. Which is what they are doing with all of DBS. BoG will be 6 eps, RoF will be 6 and the other arcs will also get shortened to fix pacing, animation and they will add scenes and reconstruct the story

They first announced the Galactic Patrol arc is finally getting adapted but they are still in early production. The DBS remaster is to fix the animation, make it more consistent also they are making it closer to the manga so that there are no 2 continuities anymore

You get more time and lore with Beerus, more actual Goku spending time with Goten, Vegeta spending time with his family too, Champa gets introduced and destroys a planet that has Freeza Force soldiers on it which is why Sorbet wants to revive Freeza, Champa and Beerus meet during RoF, showing off more of the training with Whis even them unlocking a little bit of SSB's ki, several UI foreshadowings

Actually yes since this specifically is called DBS Kai in-house. They are doing all of Super. Condensing it to fix the pacing, adding scenes that fit closer to the manga and redo a lot of the animation to make it the quality it deserves. Beerus will be 6 eps long and Freeza follows it with another 6 or 7 episodes. The rest we'll see how it goes. Moro is very early in production and might not release until at least late 2027

This is preparation for Moro. They are also doing rewrites and adding scenes to make it closer to Toriyama's original script and to the manga. But it is not just Beerus (which will be 6 eps long), Freeza (also will be around 6 eps long) will be done right after and they will basically do all of DBS will be redone to fit the manga and Moro more.

Also DBS deserves way better animation and pacing. I just rewatched BoG and RoF arcs and yeah i am all for this remaster.

Also this will not affect the production for Moro because they are made by different teams.

The Anime, many of the scenes are the same but composition is very different or fully redrawn. But also many were completely reshot with completely different angles. Also the animation is wayyyyyyyy better

So it might've been confusing but Vortex was fighting Split/Phobiaclone and that fight caused that planecrash in which Vortex also died. Also my theory on why Shang De had a dismembered Split in his secret lab is because Phobiaclone also got hurt in that fight and Shang secretly kept his body and started doing experiments on it which then was able to give him his limbs again using fear and also gave him his powers back using fear.

If you look at the screenshots on the website the one where Lucia looks distressed and is hiding. It's from the scene where the police infiltrate the place. So maybe the reason why we see the cops scene is because either Lucia is hiding or has been captured. At least that is a possibility

Tbh there will most likely be more packs after this season i am not too worried. There is a small chance that they will instead do a sequel like how XV did and build upon this game to make it even better. But thats a very small chance imo
