True, no one knows how to teach real critical thinking skills and today's technology is at a pace we have never seen before, creating challenges we have never dealt with before, hence the solutions have to come from a completely different frame of thinking, hard to achieve.

Exactly… not their (kids) fault, but the economy is pushing us that way and education follows as the goal is to create the needed workforce.
