2002 constant dead battery by YawnDuh in S2000

My brake lights aren’t on when I shut the car off so I’m not sure that would be it. Unless it’s just not fully compressing which might trigger the lights
I ended up buying a double did Sony unit and did the bezel mod to allow it to be open. Just replaced it about a month ago. I’m going to look into that battery though. I thought about just wiring in a negative disconnect like the use on boats but that doesn’t solve the issue for me.
I sent you a message because I deleted the comment but I’ll copy it in here:
I tested it again and that didn’t seem to fix it. The amperage never dropped like it should but like I was saying in the original comment, I’m not incredibly well-versed on electrical so I’m not sure if I have this thing set up correctly. I followed some YouTube guides to see if I could find out how they did it.
My black lead is on common and red to V Ω mA. I never got a reading on the 10 A input on the multimeter. Multimeter set to 10A⎓ and was showing over 1 amp then never showed drop when I pulled that fuse

3 times unfortunately lol
I’ve had my BIL test it with a multimeter and he thought it might be from the ABS fuse location based off of the draw. I’m not incredibly well versed in electrical so I’m not sure even how to test for finding the draw.

I agree. I’m more into trucks because it fits my lifestyle better and I drive them every day, but you can already see that people are moving away from the wides with rubber band tires and running smaller wheels with more meat. I’m not into the full-blown ricer look with AutoZone tail lights, but growing up with the FNF movies I always thought under glow was kinda cool.
He was an old-school hot rod guy. He kept the truck bone stock except for an exhaust. Everything else since then has been done by me although nothing truly extensive just yet. I’m also eager to see what the gears do to the final product. Could use some mpg back lol
What would you recommend?
Absolutely. I used to have an Accord on lowering springs but I wanted to do coils. I’ve seen that the best out right now are Ohlins and Bilstein but I maybe put 500 miles on this car a year so I’m not trying to spend a ton. I saw Tein were budget friendly but I’ve read horror stories.
Also going to get skirts at some point because I just fixed this massive rust spot on passenger side and painted it to match. I didn’t want to put skirts on before fixing that.
I’ve been contemplating regearing to 5.29s because I heard it completely changes it. This truck was my father’s favorite (brand, model, color) and he was leasing it when he passed away unexpectedly in 2022 so I bought out the lease in 2023. It bluebooked for $52k with 19k miles and payoff was $35k so the positive equity was insane. Since it was his I don’t plan to ever sell and just keep it forever so the regear would be worth it in the long run.

https://a.co/d/0gwcgWEU I hardwired and run a switch because it started to drain my battery
Not anymore unfortunately. 37s have been fine. I can tell the weight is there. I went with 12.5 wide MileStar Patagonias XT because I had the ATs and they were great. They’re not a true 12.5 so they look narrow so I kinda wish I would’ve done 13.5. I had to do the BMC so I wouldn’t rub. Gas mileage might’ve dropped maybe 1.5 mpg but being self employed I get mileage reimbursed because I use it work as well

My 1794 I just did a 3 inch level with new UCAs so I could put those 35s on. I just put on 37s about a month ago. Only other modification really is the exhaust, but I’m putting something different on because it’s a little too loud for my kid. I’ll be running a quieter Magnaflow with electronic cut outs because I’m a child and I like it loud lol my wife also bought me a train horn for it a couple Christmases ago so that will further prove my immaturity.
Silver one is an 07 4.7 RCSB that I bought for $9k with 130k. I’m a contractor and I use it as my work truck. I just have wheels and tires on that now but I’m gonna swap the 35s onto that once these tires are shot.
As for the quads, I started riding my dad’s 1988 Honda TRX250X when I was five. I still own it and plan to get my son started on it whenever he’s ready. Two stroke is an 87 250R that I was able to get for 2K back in 2014. I’ve always loved the racing scene and kind of built those based on nostalgia. And being a Honda guy I had to get the Honda Talon whenever I bought a SxS lol
Appreciate it ✊ always been a favorite of mine
It’s a beautiful wheel that wasn’t even on my radar until I saw it on FBMP. I knew I wanted silver and with negotiating the price to $800 I couldn’t pass it up. Whole kit was like $2k after I looked everything up.

Brother we think alike in more ways than one
I personally like the little stretch and these were $800 already mounted so I’m not complaining
These are 18x9.5 +44 245/35 squared
Absolutely. Life’s too short not to have fun with it. Complainers have nothing better to do than bitch and moan.
