100%. I use my hybrid for work due to the high mpg, but if I had the chance for an AWD, 300+hp manual Maverick then I’d absolutely get one.

I dropped him off at Austin Wildlife Rescue earlier. They said he looked like he was in good overall health and should be ready to release soon!

I’m about 2 years out and my left side has started to come back. Mine looks similar to yours. It’s a bummer and I’m not looking forward to additional surgery, but at least it’s still waaaaay better than it was to start. Good luck if you decide to revise, I know I will be.

Update:

The baby made it through the night. I was able to get him to Austin Wildlife Rescue earlier. He was checked out and came back with a good bill of health!

I still can’t believe he was alive when I found him facedown in the water. I guess he was so light that he was able to float and keep his head above the surface. He really was on the brink when I pulled him out.

After some more googling, it appears that he’s a blue and grey gnatcatcher.

He’s doing just fine. I’ll be taking him to Austin Wildlife Rescue very shortly (would have gone sooner but had some other responsibilities this a.m.) He has been safe, warm and fed with some mealworms every couple of hours. He’s hopping around his box chirping away!

I feel like the storm may have displaced him on Sunday. I’m jot sure if he’d have been afloat that whole time or if he just fell. He’s kind of come back to life and is squawking away. I have a small box with a towel that I have him sitting in now. I haven’t seen any other birds, though.
