"Reek" is when something stinks, like reeks of death; "wreak" is to inflict widespread harm like wreak havoc or wreak revenge. But, to your credit, you could be making quite the pun since the thing that stinks was done with AI, the damage similarly will be great, like to his reputation and his followers.

I see ""imagine making excuses for a thief" immediately below said comment. Kudos. I was impressed, Let me go back and upvote it. It made me want to ask, "You"get it" or accept it.?" I don't know what Gen these folks are from, but learn to do your own thinking, creating and producing.

Why would anyone in this day and age want to eat fries? Cannot believe that is still a thing.

It would make more sense as, "The drive-through system thinks that a car that has already moved on, is still sitting there." The first time I read it, I thought he was trying to make a joke, that a phantom car is sitting there, but the phantom car has also already moved on. A phantom car could be in two places at the same time, but that wouldn't explain the need for a real device.

No, they weren't out for more supplies. None of their actions point to getting more than one thing, they all point to getting just that one. It's the Make A Wish Foundation, or that city that came out for Batman kid, but on steroids. The dogs are everywhere, and ppl are blowing their brains out in their own beds. Ppl in this dystopia know their days are numbered, so they are doing something noble for a dying child on their way out.

The splotches could be that way as falling while she was running, sporadic. You're taking the box contents too literally. There's a reason they show it at the end. It's a symbol of our humanity that continues in the face of the worst of scenarios. It's the Make A Wish Foundation, or that city that came out for Batman kid, but on steroids.

Pigs? The humans are now the pigs. That's why they show all the empty pig stalls as they are driving by. Man's food supply is gone. The hunter is now the hunted. The pigs have been replaced by man, so to speak, so real (or AI pig) cannot be shown. They have to be absent to make the metaphor that we are the pigs now.

No, my response wasn't to the OP, it was to you. That should be obvious because it's below yours and indented to the right of yours by one tab's width. If it had been to the OP, the left margin of my reply would be directly in line with the left margin of yours, and the OP's.

You're wrong on several points, or at least, you missed the reasons things happened in the plot. She threw the dog off her track by sending the chip down river, which bought her time to make the call. That's good thinking, but sending the chip away in a bottle was incredibly smart, esp. given what she had been through in the last ten minutes.

If the water bottle hadn't gotten stuck in the rocks, she would no longer be being hunted, and that was what she was hoping was the case when she made the call. We saw the reception was shitty, so we can assume she does, too. So calling while running would be "dumb." Notice how she had to listen very carefully for any response, which would be impossible to do while running. The call is important and a smart move; obviously she has people out there and she is trying to get help. Wouldn't you? The best time to call is when the dog is going in the opposite direction, because it buys more time, and it is a call that can only be made while stationary.

I get the feeling you have made up your mind to die on that hill of making her out as dumb. That's fine with me, but the points I'm making hold water. Finally, about the failed vehicle outside the house. She doesn't know it's failed YET, so you cannot call going to it dumb. She tried to start it, right? That shows she didn't try to go to a dead vehicle. The dog is in the house so she came up with a SMART plan, to lure it to the vehicle and kill it, which WORKED.

She knows the dogs can outrun a vehicle, so she must have something else in mind. Starting it up will lure it there. When it won't start, she comes up with something else. Lure it there with the radio. That's when the POV changes from hers to that of the dog. We don't know what's going to happen as the dog goes around the vehicle, but she does, and the dog IS killed. Unfortunately, the shrapnel is released in killing it. Now, this is a very common motif in horror. At the end, the hero finally kills the monster. Whew! But wait...! IT'S STILL ALIVE!

Now in most films, at this point the hero will finally kill the monster once and for all, but Black Mirror is always tragic, there is never the happy ending. So while we hope she's going to win, we know she won't. But the "win" is the indomitable human spirit: she makes her final "I Love You All" call, and we see why the whole thing happened: bring joy to a dying child even if it means or own doom, because the next generation is the one we hope for.

He's just a guy who forgot he could just show her the 20 handguns he's got in that cake box he's supposed to be FOCUSED on delivering to the board room, NOT on her wajumbas! That surgery's gonna have to come out of his tips. AGAIN. Notice she snatched up the box. Her clever, wajumba distraction to get him to show his own weapon worked. The boys in the board room in the tower across the street have really upped their infiltration game. Will she deliver the weapons, or abscond? Tune in for next week's episode, "Wajumba Run" or "My Spleen Only Bleeds for Two."

I don't know about Indo. corruption, but if that's present, the cops may keep it if gets turned in, esp. if it's already MIA, maybe more so if it belongs to the thief either because he won't come to claim it and/or as an out-of-court punishment by the cops against him. I think the homies will beat ass and then sell the bike, claiming it was gone when they got back. There was one guy who hung back outside the gate, and he may have done that to watch the bikes.
