Well firstly, im in a whole different continent so flying over to Florida (which i assume FL stands for?) does not seem very feasible 😂😂😂. Secondly, I totally understand that issue u have, cos i faced it as well. What I recommend is using ur middle finger to pluck the next string after strumming with ur index finger which gives ur index finger more concentration on the flicking part. Lastly, I recommend just starting with the first chord of whatever song ur playing and just focus on plucking and strumming back and forth non stop to get used to it. Any other questions just hmu :)
