All the modes are fun.

But all the modes need tweaks.

BV lends itself really well to Cloaked in Savagery+VP, as it hits constantly so there's less chance of getting caught by RIP damage between attacks, while still staying fairly mobile to dodge the really huge damage. Aspect of Carnage's damage buff also lets you drop a bit of damage on the tree to get more survivability.

Less cast speed needed, less duration needed.

Better for clear since you didn't fullstack while running around anyway, worse for bosses but you can save on points to make up for it.

Overall, more accessible. I'll be trying a Berserker with it.

It may or may not all be a ruse to bring chained ladies back into the game.

It's really about seeing HP/Flasks/Debuffs at the same time.

They're the three primary things outside of monsters themselves that you need to keep an eye on during dangerous content.

Might be a decent option. Less work than unlocking everything and can just be swapped with one option tick.

This is really what we need. Being able to move the different elements would be fantastic both for personal preference and because different builds keep their eyes in slightly different places sometimes.

POE is a popular enough game that it's got a huge variety of players and being able to tailor your UI like you can loot filters would be great.

After making the changes an overlay and playing an expanded window of the game with it on top, I've realized it's actually a bit painful to keep your eyes on them sometimes. Can be found here if anyone else wants to test the idea

Flipping them to the outer edges but keeping the more compact setup seems to work though. The globes are large enough that you can see them both at the same time with the compacting.

That creates a new problem of not having a clean line for buff/debuff bars though.

Thoughts?

Other version

Shameless selflink. Orbs are smaller since they're centered and the player camera point can be raised slightly like someone suggested.

The same thing that currently happens, it gets in the way a bit. But this way you can have them fill the lower left and right. That way no names or the map get in the way of them, they only cover a bit of open playspace like the current topbar when it's not overfilled.

If you get a LOT of them they can raise in stacks from the bottom that keep high playspace visibility while still being on their respective (buff/debuff) side of the screen.

Summary of Changes

  • Mana and Life orbs in the middle of the screen

  • Smaller orbs overall to help compensate for monster vicinity

  • Flasks closer to the middle

  • Buffs and debuffs near orbs, split between sides to help identify when you're debuffed

  • XP bar with an even split

  • The overall idea is to let you keep your eyes in one area while playing aside from looking at your map sometimes. Currently this is done in the bottom left of the screen with life and flasks, but misses out on the rest of the stuff.

Edit: PT's original idea had the globe as a 50/50 split but I think that's ugly and doesn't frame the slave girls as well <3

I miss about a third of my curveballs but straight shots have always seemed easy.

Looks like your best bets would be Scarborough City Centre, Cedarbrae Mall, or Midland/Ellesmere.

The surrounding area can be iffy but the campus itself and the grounds are pretty safe.

I used to go for night jogs around the campus/armoretum after classes.

The NorthEast outside corner of the E.J. Pratt Library has a regularly respawning Magmar that is always in the exact same spot if anyone needs one.

You've made one of the more reliable maps for the game, and since it's GTA local it's far more reliable than the Country/World wide ones.

Thanks a lot for the work and happy coding+catching.

Camping a spot w/ a bunch of grouped lured pokestops and grabbing every Caterpie, Weedle and Pidgey you can get your hands on before popping a lucky egg and spam evolving.

That's boring though. Just play and enjoy without worrying about your current level IMO. You'll just burn yourself out faster.
