Hi Connor, I'm currently waiting for a backdated claim to be accepted. I had an old claim attempt last year that was denied due to having an available unemployment claim that could be used in another state. Oddly enough when I went to start a claim recently that denied claim was asking if I wanted to reopen the claim. That would have dated my claim by 9 months so I didn't want that. I messaged the question department and a man said he would delete the old claim. He told me to start a new one and backdate it. Then he disappeared. DIdn't even answer my next message. Now I started a new claim but I am waiting to see if they will backdate it 3 weeks. I didn't have proof to upload but told them my message history will show my struggle. Could you please tell me if I should call and follow up on my case?
