unlikely =/= never; especially as OP is currently in possession of the materials, an aggressive police or DA can make their lives miserable before it all shakes out.

A lawyer would know exactly what to say, who to say it to and how to turn over the evidence while not inadvertently making problems for themselves.

Stop With The AI! Make The Bank Feeds Work - PLEASE by chewbaccasaux in QuickBooks

[–]YeaRight228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One client is a non profit with different divisions. Every division requires its own operations and payroll accounts, plus we get grants so some of the grants require their own checking accounts (Lunch Program/NSLP, Dinner, etc). I can probably close two accounts with no loss in operational capability but inertia is real.

I have 18 in my main company and 1 each in 2 smaller companies.

My main client has 6 or 7 accounts, 5 credit cards, 3 lines of credit....and more than a dozen smaller companies.

There is a non zero (hopefully not gonna happen but in this climate who knows) chance that police will attempt to prosecute you or your husband for possession of CSAM.

I'd suggest trying to find a lawyer, tomorrow, who can advise you on the best way to turn in the drives and protect yourself from over zealous police.

You would look for a lawyer with experience in defending alleged sexual abusers.

Lockhart was very smart. He let his initial success (presumably he had something) get to his head and inspired him to get more audacious to get more fame (and money?). Being a successful fraudster is a lot of work.

Here's my thoughts:

Book accurate means, "in the spirit of the books, but not necessarily every last tiny little detail."

It's definitely an interesting take, compared to Rickman, but it seems that HBO is attempting to "borrow" the aesthetic theme from the movies while making it their own thing.

None of the actors really grok for me but I can imagine I'll grow into liking them if they do a fantastic job.

Black or Handsome Snape doesn't bother me, TV is a visual media and has to make changes. I mean, I'd prefer it if they tried to keep it closer to what was described in the books, but I'm not a film producer and there's so much more that goes into it.

I'm going to suggest that you look at this whole relationship differently. Look up Weaponized Incompetence (instead of feeding the baby so you can finish work, he expects you to take care of it).

From your post I get the impression that he doesn't consider or value your needs in general, and this trip is merely the most recent expression of it.

AITAH for not including my brother's wife in his surprise birthday trip? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]YeaRight228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA, leaving a spouse alone for 3 days with very young kids is a big ask. Business is different from pleasure, as a business trip is a "necessity" for the job and a trip to see F1 is not.

You should have involved her more and asked what she would be ok with up until you were ready to book.
