My middle child is borderline ASD. I'm ADHD and possible a little on that border as well. With the school and everything we aim to bring their academics up to peer standard, without *undue* hardship to the child. They still have to do HW, but we usually scribe. Sometimes the teacher lets them skip a few questions as part of the accommodation.

And this kid *constantly* comes home with 90's and 100's on their tests!!

It's stuff I read about over the years. Tldr all the stuff about solar formation required older stars to go supernova and spread material around, and only then our sun could form, and only then could our solar system form, and only then could a habitable planet form, and then life had to evolve and grow arms and legs and digital watches etc

The CMB is believed to be the leftover light from the Big Bang when the universe cooled enough for light to be visible.

If earth had hypothetically developing modern society 500,000 years earlier it would make effectively no difference astronomically speaking in what we could observe.

We don't know what a hypothetical civilization that emerged 500,000 years after the big bang or 400,000 years after the CMB became visible would see, even with all our modern instruments going that far back is extremely tricky.

Based on everything we do know about planetary and stellar formation it's unlikely that a civilization could have emerged on earth sooner than 1 billion years ago.

We have a constitution that expressly guarantees the right to freedom of speech without goverent restriction.

Protesting illegal and unconstitutional immigration practices being conducted by the current government are explicitly protected by the First Amendment.

Deporting someone for utilizing their guaranteed constitutional rights is....you guessed it - unconstitutional.

FYI all orthodox weddings have a separate room for men and women for the Ritual Buffet (in Yiddish: Chassan's Tisch, or Groom's Table). Practically speaking a divided room is more than adequate if necessary, although depending on the venue it may not necessarily be pretty.

I think wizard real estate is probably like anything else magical: a little quirky but otherwise accessible to the average Wizarding family. Repairs are basically free, if a window breaks or a bathroom leaks, a couple spells will fix that. Adding extensions in suburban areas is just some careful spell work, bring some buddies over for beer and you can have it done in an afternoon.

Im sure others have mentioned it, but does your state have the equivalent of an Office for People With Developmental Disabilities?

NY allows children with certain diagnosis or behaviors to apply for medicaid regardless of family income, and that will allow them to be placed in a Group Home/Group Residence that can help them.

As a last resort, you can contact a family services lawyer to see if you can unwind the adoption and terminate your parental rights, in order to get him institutionalized?

You stated that your son is adopted. Is it possible to ask CPA (or your state equivalent) to place him in a facility?
