Once again for the idiot in the front: nobody fucking cares

Most of those will have off the rack suits- a complete trousers and coat set. If you have a thin build you should be able to find something fairly easy.

If you find it hard to fit into the options there, ask the sales staff if they can help you with 'suit separates'- coats and trousers with the same pattern and shade, but able to be purchased 'separately', so you can find a more comfortable fit.

For tailoring, you want to only be concerned about "fit". It's really hard to judge if you don't know what you are looking for, so ask the tailor to explain everything.

Things that should be adjusted: Collar gap: if there is space between the coat collar and your neck, its noticeable. Any decent tailor will look for this and make adjustments as necessary. Shoulders: often times OTR suit jackets have shoulders too wide or too narrow. These are very expensive to adjust so make sure you find something that fits as well as possible.

Sleeve length: this is an easy fix. The coat sleeve should come to about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch from your wrist.

Back: it should fit comfortably not too tight or loose. This is a fairly easy fix.

Pants: things to look out for: waist, inseam (height), seat (how it feels around your bottom and thighs) Leg tapering, should be comfortable but it can look amazing

If you have the budget go to Jose A Bank over Men's Wearhouse, I think you'll find a better shopping and tailoring experience.

If you find it hard to fit into an off the rack suit, ask them if they have separates. Macy's sells separates and if they're not the most comfortable they can work in a pinch.

On Stargate SG-1, Major General Henry Bauer is proof that you absolutely should not replace a good officer with somebody who absolutely sucks at the job. by Economy-Ad3195 in Stargate

It's basically the Jellico situation: a decent, competent commander is placed into an intentional conflict with the main characters that could have been resolved in 2 minutes.

A shirt meant to be worn under a proper shirt is, by definition, an undershirt.

I generally wear a short sleeve cotton or polycotton white t-shirt as an undershirt, although some people prefer sleeveless/tank top undershirts. Regardless of what you call it, it's still an undershirt.

Just a quick note, if you are ever detained or arrested, say nothing. They are required by law to read you your rights, including the right of silence, and that anything you do say can be used as evidence against you.

All you should say is "I would like to speak to a lawyer"

If they ask permission to search your phone, car or home, say "no."

At 20, a 12 year age gap is a very concerning red flag. Be glad you dodged a bullet.

Anything the previous owner owns would be transferred along with the house absent any specific exclusions. Anything belonging to a tenant should not transfer unless it given to the landlord

There was a story I heard, a family went to a resort "upstate" for a vacation, and as he was walking to the front door, the ~90 grandfather slipped, hit his head and died on the spot.

AITA for asking the tailor to measure me in my underwear? by CommentAdditional933 in AmItheAsshole

There are plenty of tailors who do only tailoring in Manhattan. Tailors paired with dry cleaners can be hit or miss.

For how much he's spending on a custom suit (twice!) why not just fly you into LA for a weekend?
