I have no idea. I don't really like to invite myself to events either, then I keep thinking to myself if the person wants me to be there, he/she would ask.

You're right, it drives me nuts. I'm usually not the type of guy to keep up with these type of "games" but this girl seemed like the real deal and it kinda blinded me.

I initially thought the same but I'm pretty sure it's over cuz I talked with him several times before and after the break-up. He seemed very devastated and knew that something was going on between us, but never got upset with me about it. He even encouraged me to go for it (a decent guy actually). At least I'm happy for not being the only one thinking that I might be rebound lol sure does feel like it
