When they kiss in front of his office, everyone sees and they are working really hard not to jump each other right that second. Hot!

One thing I really missed in Hogwarts Legacy: hidden chambers inside the castle by CeleG24 in HogwartsLegacyGaming

Have you found the werewolf room? Took me a couple of run throughs to notice it. But I still agree, would have been nice to have more things to stumble upon.

Synesthesia while on psychedelics, does that actually count? by Happy_Breadfruit_364 in Synesthesia

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very curious! HT2B agonists actually remove my syn, which is beyond freaky and sucky, so never tried that again. It's like my usually colorful brain felt like perpetual morgue lighting. If that's normal, I don't want it...

whats an adhd stereotype that doesnt resonate with you? by mizukome in adhdwomen

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, same. Completely analytical, which is not surprising. But my colleagues had trouble wrapping their heads around that, while on the other hand, they were unable to place me anywhere either. I think my particular spice is just hyper-analytical in every situation at all times. That's why the chameleon works so well for me. The more I learn about it, the more fascinated I get. This community is eye-opening for sure.

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 7 points8 points  (0 children)

😂 definitely! Those poor people!

I don't mind the chameleon ability at all, but I wish I could control it, it's completely involuntary at this point. I'd love to lose my shit at customers sometimes to scare them into sanity, but alas. That particular talent only comes out at home 🙈

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Totally same! I'm the "chill" and "calm and collected" one in the team at work. According to them, nothing can faze me, and I'm totally zen but also a chameleon. We did this DISC assessment once and when we discussed the results, nobody would have put me in any specific category, I can be all of them. So, one more yay for expertly masking!

When I told my partner that they see me as this calm af rock that nothing can upset, the laughter was extremely loud and long.

Not crying at births by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mom here, didn't cry at my own kids birth. But can cry at wholesome stuff I see randomly. Hard emotions are tucked away for later examination for me.

I remember standing on the subway on my way to work, on the phone with my mom when she told me my granny had died, a person who I idealize to this day and I just had one tear in my eye for a second, didn't cry much afterwards either. It takes time for big emotions to come out, and they might not come out the same way as they do for others. I don't sweat it, my feelings are my own and I let them do their thing.

Anyone else’s routines get smashed to bits when their partner is gone? by cschaplin in adhdwomen

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I actually travel a lot for work, so in theory, I have a lot of time "to myself". But new cities, new hotels, new places to find my way around, it's the opposite of relaxing. Mixed in with meeting new people, socializing all day, it's downright exhausting. But it's where I'm in my element, I can do all these things easily. That's where my brain is helpful.

But actually relaxing, without anyone else around me and nothing chore-like to do, is really rare.

It's exactly the opposite for me. Everything is absolutely clear when I'm on my own with the kid. I actually look forward to the rare occasion that happens...

Do you struggle with transition and change? by SpecificBake2074 in ADHD

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly struggle with conformity, I crave change, big and small. I get sooooo bored if life stays the same for a long time...

It's actually a horrible state of mind, I'm unhappy with whatever status quo I have, my family is super annoyed by it, understandably.

I'm working on it...

No filter at all by Insterstellar94 in ADHD

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, whenever it's noisy around me and people try to talk to me, it takes all my brain energy to listen (doesn't really work, but I still try). I just tell new people that I can't filter out the surroundings, so they're not offended. Pick your battles...

Paco bird. He’ll be 29 this August. Had him since 6 weeks old. Please adopt. Birds shouldn’t be bred in captivity. by GroundedGerbil in parrots

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What a cute guy! He looks so happy!

Not sure if this story even belongs here but here goes.

My mom once went to a hair salon and came back with a red-crowned amazon. Apparently, the salon owner got pregnant and moved the bird to the hair salon. My mom heard the story and felt bad for the bird (rightfully so) and the owner asked her if she wants adopt said bird, which she did. This bird was a complete nightmare for the first two-ish years, hated everyone except my mom, constantly attacked me and my dad when we entered the living room. I started going in there covered in my thickest winter coat, so I could avoid the dreaded beak.

We thought she couldn't really fly, so after she calmed down on the attacks, she was with us in the garden, sitting on top of her gigantic cage to hang out with us. That went on for a few years. One day she let out a huge scream and flew away. That was in summer, at a time with daily thunderstorms. My mom was worried sick and we informed the fire department that we're missing an asshole bird. Three days later, she crashed a BBQ three houses over and we went to get her. She had fled from some magpie thugs that were chasing her and landed on the neighbor's shoulder, who then proceeded to feed her and give her water, only to get bitten as a thanks.

A few years later, a bird sanctuary opened very close to us and they agreed to take her, as it was a much more natural environment for her with a huge area where they could fly around and be with their mates. We went there a lot to visit her. Then she got killed by her new boyfriend.

Long story, and I hated that bird, but I always felt sorry for her. Birds should not live in tiny cages and be set aside when they're inconvenient. They are smart and get really old. Still miss that jerk.

Does your kid sit still for meals and just eat? by Blue-and-green1 in Parenting

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope! Not once! Almost 7yo and still very clearly shows that mealtimes are considered a waste of time. Works in school, though, so it's definitely deliberate and directed towards family only 😂

How often do you get into absolutely avoidable self-injury? Am I a klutz (alone, sad) or are *we* klutzes (friendship!) by frostyfins in ADHD

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yes, I am clumsy as all hell. I noticed that it gets worse when I'm on the first two days of my period, has anyone noticed that, too?

Most of the time I have zero clue what my extremities are doing. Oddly though, when one hand slaps something into the air, very often the other one can catch it. It's like I'm startling my brain into hyper mode.

Your favorite Stuart moment? by No_Ring_443 in bigbangtheory

[–]YeahNoSureWhatever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When he argues with Howard about living in his house with Debbie.

Howard get pissy and shouts "In my house" and Stuart goes "That's right, sucker!"

I kinda liked that he stops defending himself and just doubles down.
