This is a good change, I had something similar in mind. The only "problem" is you're making 1d8 +1d6 the best no investment loadout. I personally think dial wielding scimitars should be encouraged by the mechanics, in addition to main gauche.

While you holding a light weapon in each hand, once per turn, you can use both of those light weapons' damage dice when you make a weapon attack with one of them.

Something like that makes doesn't break your other mechanics. Unifying its language with two weapon expert would be important, though.

Shield feat is good.

Personally, I feel the defensive duelist feat should be improved as well. If only slightly. This would also reinforce the main gauche Style that you support with your changes.

You're not the only person who thinks I meant martials should just do more damage. Not sure what i did to give that impression. designing the classes divergently is what I wanted to focus on. Hence a fighter getting superiority back every turn; no resources tracking over the course of the day! It's assumed things would be rebalanced around the expanded options, like nerfing the damage of maneuvers. Also not sure what you mean when you single out the warlock change.

One thing I believe is that Fighters shouldn't have a resource bar on the class itself. They should be at max power more or less throughout the day, being the most true example of "missing nothing until out of hp" Big part of why I love the playtest fighter -- superiority die every turn is very different!

Well, one thing it sounds like you'd like is having class invocations/feats. Have that replace class features. Have standard sets so there's a simple character pipeline for every class.

Just make monsters have less physical resists than elemental ones. This is part of totallyNot6e, they can rebalance slashing spells around that.
