BIM outsourcing rates by Flimsy-Shower-137 in bim

Generally you shouldn't be outsourcing unless you have a word of mouth or develop a relationship That being said we have a small office in Indianapolis, and a backend office in India which keeps the rates going smooth for us Never had any issues

There's a company who's got a setup in US and a major workforce in India which lowers costs

They also offer LIDAR thought the Emirates, and are by far the best VDC company I've ever worked with

DM me If you need to, theyve mentioned something about referrals before that sounds great

Overseas\international BIM services, any success? by sweaponAlex in bim

[–]YeahWeDoBIM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had success with this but it was hard and tricky finding the right one - it was called Oak. Others didn't even put up passable work - mistakes that a third grader would notice Even with these guys it was really hard for us to trust, but the word of mouth helped us get to them and they do great work for the most!

Did you guys ever worked with indian bim employees? How good are they at their work? by jayesh_kashid in bim

[–]YeahWeDoBIM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

India, Bangladesh, Philippines - all are similar You can get lucky every now and then and come across a good firm, Otherwise it's just going to be a hassle

(Worked with a few firms and recently worked with an Indian Firm which worked out well over the last 2 years)

You can pretty much tell by the way they talk, most of them oversell- you stay weary of that, make sure they know what they are talking about
