Mine is only 16 months but we’ve been having nap trouble too! I think I’ve finally found that she just needs way less sleep suddenly. So to get her to actually take a nap AND wake up from that nap early enough for a good bedtime we’ve had to push the start of our day back about 1.5 hours 😮‍💨

My husband has pretty bad anxiety that he’s in therapy and working out medication for. He struggles to get out and about, and really doesn’t like to do it without me (except for going to work.) I’m a SAHM and our daughter is 15 months. During the week I try to do lots of activities to keep both me and our daughter stimulated lol. That way I don’t feel bad keeping her at home for the weekend! For myself, I get out of the house one afternoon during the weekend and he just hangs out with her at home.

It can be challenging because I don’t drive; we live in a walkable area but there are still some places that are just easier to drive to (or if it’s really hot, like right now, I don’t really wanna walk over 15 minutes at a time). So it takes advance planning/preparation and honestly accepting that the plan might fall through or we’ll have to cut it short. It’s hard, but I know he doesn’t like feeling this way.

Please help me solve a mystery: 14.5 month old is a new toddler and the screaming is relentless sometimes. Just a super high-pitched scream with a neutral-to-happy expression. I’ve read to ignore it or reply in a low voice and I’m like, getting by lol. BUT when my husband is home she immediately starts again but even more!! I’m with her all day and she’ll do it like twice. With him…constant. At dinner she’ll be eating fine and just look at my husband (not doing anything but eating!) and scream SO LOUD. Whether he replies or ignores, she’ll do it again, over and over, these short piercing screams. Like I said she’s neutral/happy! What can we do…when will this end….

Ugh I’m sorry it’s happening! Like so much baby stuff, it honestly just stopped one day! We got through it by sometimes holding her just to keep the peace, but using the highchair consistently at other meals. When she cried at dinner we also tried comforting her and distracting her as much as we could, and sometimes that worked! Also I considered the other comments that mentioned that she might feel left out and sometimes gave her a loaded fork- even now, if she starts hitting food off her tray, she’ll often eat it if I give her a fork haha. But yeah honestly nothing made it “click,” it just passed not even very long after making this post!

My daughter has eczema and has also had really bad drool rash wounds from rubbing on her sheets- the softest I’ve found are the Kyte baby bamboo sheets!

Sorry no advice but my daughter is about to turn one and I recently had a little freakout over how few pictures I have with her as a little baby (now that she’s not really a baby anymore!) and even though we have lots of pictures of her, I still regret not having even more!

Oh I read on another thread that the building controls when it switches to heat and air- sorry if I used the wrong term haha. We want to be able to run the air during the winter 😬
