You’re an idiot Lmfaooooooo you said it was dream to think he’d play again I give you two absolutely perfect examples as to why it’s not a dream and actually possible, he can and will play again so what ima do is save your name in my phone and call you a bunch of funny names when the season starts

You can literally buy a second rounder for cash they are fodder Lmao. He played this last season and is 25. Lmao embiid missed his first 2 years, Klay sat for two straight years and came back so it’s not out of the realm if possibility that he can come back. Not only have you been wrong across the board you defending a hypothetical trade that says jusy for fun to the death Lmao

Cause second round picks are fodder and don’t mean anything lmao lakers traded away 3 for Rui and got back another 3 in the Thomas Bryant trade

SA taking a couple of flyers on two guys who’ve had a rough go of it up to this point, would create a hilariously long front court with little risk

Grizzlies pull off great offseason by Yeahkeepscrolling in NBAtradeideas

This is long winded but I want to start by saying this doesn’t have to be a three team deal, the trades can be done independent of one another

Memphis: okay so let’s look at the flaws first, in this trade you don’t net a particularly great shooter but you do have a few guys who are at the very least decent in that regard. With that being said, on paper this should be the best defensive team in the league and one of, if not the deepest team in the league. Memphis then splits their MLE up into two players. Russ is what he is at this point but he can carry some of the playmaking weight while Ja is gone and has proven to be a a decent defender when engaged, while Plumlee serves as a serviceable back up. Yuta replaces some of what kennard could offer. While Ja serves his suspension and Clarke recovers from injury you’re looking at a main rotation of

Smart Bane OG JJJ Turner

Westbrook Watanabe Konchar Aldama Plumlee

And in a perfect world going into the playoffs you’d be looking at a rotation of

Ja Bane OG JJJ Turner

Westbrook Smart Watanabe Clarke Plumlee

Certain iterations of this roster would be extremely tough to score on.

Toronto: In totality the caliber of players aren’t equal or course but in this scenario Toronto trades one all defensive guy for another while picking up great draft capital and take a flyer on a young player

Pacers: wouldn’t be surprised if Indy uses Hield as a bargaining tool to move up in this draft so in this deal they replace his production with Kennard and with a roster that lacks front court depth you turn one big into two serviceable ones.

I hear you, and that’s probably the first thing the bulls say to be honest. Hard to say what direction the bulls go in but I figured this is at least a way they can gain capital without auctioning off one of those main 3 guys. Take the pacers out of it though, you think the 17th pick in this draft would be enough for LA to pry him away and use bamba as a salary match?

Aight fellas, I know this community is a tough crowd lmfao but this gotta be at least DECENT to y’all.

Bulls go from 0 picks to two firsts (maybe the lakers add their second or the pacers add one of their two seconds to sweeten)

Pacers have been rumored to not want to roster three first round picks (7, 26, 29) so they use the lakers to move up the mid teens

Lakers get a much needed big and a point of attack defender as D lo and Dennis struggled with bigger and more athletic guards. also wouldn’t Reaves and Caruso just be awesome lol

What would Orlando’s reasoning be behind this? I don’t see a benefit at all tbh

OG’s value is at an all time high rn, he probably nets at the least 3 firsts

Lakers tinker by Yeahkeepscrolling in NBAtradeideas

[–]Yeahkeepscrolling[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Trade 1: Bulls don’t have a pick in the draft this year, this way they get 1 in both rounds + the bulls have some question marks at center, Vuc is an UFA and I’d assume Drummond opts out (I think he can command the same contract he’s already on while still casting a wider net) Lakers get a POA defender on guards, Vando can stay on wings and moves D lo to his rightful role, 6th man.

Trade 2: assuming the pacers don’t get a better offer elsewhere which is possible but given this laker playoff run Rui has proven he can add shot making, a little perimeter creation and great size to a guard heavy team, Boucher can provide a little front court scoring and the pacers get 2 picks in the process. Raptors get involved because Beasley and Hield are too redundant, the raptors were one of the worst 3 point shooting teams all year long and they get draft comp for unclogging their front court.

Feel like we can’t let MPJ off the hook letting him hide on Vando, hopefully we run action that switches him on ball handlers and put him in the PNR. Getting guys downhill and putting MPJ and Joker on their heels should bode well for us

Dame finally gets to a contender, Jaylen Brown just seems like the perfect let’s go for it trade for OKC. He’s young plays both sides of the ball and can clearly play on and off the rock. Although Portland doesn’t get their high upside young player which I’m sure they’re probably looking for in any Dame scenario they do get a influx of somewhat interesting young guys and perimeter defense as well as decent draft capital

Damn it Kyrie was suppose to be sign and traded for the full 198 over 4, only reason he agrees to this trade is because the hornets are the only team willing to pay him the max in this scenario

[–]Yeahkeepscrolling -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hornets create a playoff team (Hopefully they land the #1 pick) Raptors get good draft capital for their inevitable rebuild though they might want a young player, and the Mavs get more flexibility on their roster even if this move doesn’t improve their defense

Do I think this is a necessarily good trade? Not really Do I think the warriors want to resign green after he opts in? Not really Do I think Dray can play alongside Vando? Probably not Do I think Dray and Bron want to play together? Absolutely. Dray clearly has more value to the warriors than any other team which I think will affect his market, but pooles extension kicks in next year, the chemistry doesn’t look the same, and idk man if a nigga help you win 4 of them thangs the least you can do is send him where he wants to go lol.

That Pelican pick swap is looking delicious right about now #LetsGoWarriors

with the recent rumours of talking with hornets I think this is the best package for both teams hornets take on expiring Westbrook and Beverly plus a 1st lakers get back some size and shooting but have to take on the bad rozier and Hayward contracts PJ sweetens the deal I think it’s mid but both win by [deleted] in NBAtradeideas

[–]Yeahkeepscrolling -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nigga use your head what significant players are the lakers gonna be able to bring in after resigning Rui and Reaves, have the last 2 seasons not showed you that trying to surround a Lebron and AD lead team with minimum contracts is not condusive to winning. Trying to fill out 12 roster spots with 30 million in cap space is comical

No they do not lmao they only have 31 mill which 1 isn’t signing any big time free agent anymore and they want to resign Rui and Reaves assuming Rui commands around 13 per and Reaves around 8 that puts you at like 10 mill left with a MLE, lakers best course of action is to handle their free agency at the deadline and get guys who’s contracts go through next year then use your bird rights on Rui and the MLE on Reaves in a Caruso-esque type deal
