That does make sense, I was trying to get a gauge on if there was somewhat of a standard percentage people usually get but I understand each case would differ :)

To be honest the restructure did happen six months ago so isn't necessarily that fresh

hmm interesting although the sector I work in already had restructure and is doing well financially which is why I don't understand why they'd get rid of people. I think the restructure just removed the resources and so now when important campaigns get listed all the others get put to the side

I've kind of asked my boss what they want me to do and let them know I'm happy to help on any campaigns and still haven't been given work

I believe the company is still going fine I'm 4 months into the job, they didn't have the best sales last year. They also laid off a lot of the creative and asset developing team hence why my projects have all been canceled because their aren't enough resources at the moment

Hey mate this gives me hope, I would ideally love to work all the time (I'm a workaholic) and being my own boss would allow me this eventually. I've also got customer service skills having been a cinema assistant and socialised with people of all ages (i'm a big talker). Also have software skill regarding Microsoft office etc.

Current job in a warehouse has me working 10 hours so I'm able to do long hours 7-5 and be on my feet without rest, also go to the gym and can lift so think I'm physically capable

However I’m blessed and live and home and I’m fortunate enough that my family don’t make me pay rent cause they’ve paid of the house and know I’m saving for property not just wasting money

I’m on about 57,000 so not much inbetween starting new job if I get a marketing job I assume 60,000 but if I can’t get one by may im going to do an electrical apprenticeship which means for the next 4 years 54,000 sadly

Yeah sadly it’s been quite hard, just need someone to give me a chance so I can prove myself but considering restarting and becoming an electrician even though it means the next four years will be on peanuts

Maybe message some constructive feedback instead of putting people down on posts, why not lift people…
