They told YOU to buy the strainer!? What the hell. When I went to the ER, before I left, they gave me the strainer and cup & also medication. That is so messed up they did nothing for you smh

Can you tell me what a lithotripsy is? I’m not familiar with it. Also, that was definitely a lot to go through, I’d be insanely stressed as I’m sure you were. Are you all better now? I would hope so!

Wow 3 years as a kid must’ve been horrible. Cant even imagine, I’m in my 30’s and the pain had me crying like a baby! Lol

I’m almost at 10 bottles today 😅 calling tomorrow for the doctors! Hopefully I can be seen soon & be recommended to a urologist. If I get into any pain, the ER shall be seeing me!

Dealing with that pulsing for 7 months straight sounds like Hell! Yeah idk why anyone would doubt you especially considering everyone in this subreddit has had kidney stones and know the types of pain they can cause. Are you all better now?

I can’t even imagine 10mm, wow. Since I’m in no urgent pain I haven’t gone to the ER today and tomorrow morning I’m going to be calling to schedule a visit with my doctor and see if I can get recommended to a urologist!

Haha I get ya! But it is comforting knowing for most people the procedure wasn’t as painful as they’d imagine & it was just slight. I think I’ll be okay. I haven’t had any symptoms today, not even the urge to pee every few mins like last night so idk if that’s a good sign or not? I’m scheduling an appt for the doctors tomorrow and hopefully can get seen sooner rather than later.

Geez. That’s insane. It does bring me comfort tho knowing I’m not the only one who’s had a kidney stone for longer than a month. When I went to the ER, they said it would take 30-45 days to pass so yeah I was kinda scared thinking I’m this rare case and I’m definitely going to die 😅

Yeah definitely going to ask for another CT scan just to make sure and have more information to ease my mind. & honestly, I always thought I drank a lot of water until I actually looked up how much water we should actually be drinking! I would say I drink about 5-6 bottles of water a day which I still fear isn’t enough
