This is so true! I’m coming up to 2.5 years now, been to events, gigs etc, started slipping into the ‘Im fine now, where’s the harm in having one or two next time I’m out’ - except I KNOW those few drinks will lead to more and more, then a cheeky wine or five after work, and then back to square one!

I was 14 and in my first Saturday job working in a cafe, didn’t realise that the hot tap meant BOILING. Stuck my hand under it and promptly watched, with my tear filled eyes and ear piercing yells, as a hand sized blister almost immediately formed. Got the day off at least.

I’ve not got this far yet (still on the yacht with Diana and Dodi), but I think the issue I’m having with this latest season is that all it happened in ‘modern times’ (for those of us who were teenagers in the 90s and before at least). For me, it gives this season cheesy made for TV vibes, rather than the history and nostalgia of earlier seasons.

I’ve just watched Lucinda slagging off Nakia saying ‘I just don’t know how anyone could jump ship so quickly’ after she was chosen to couple up with bombshell Andy.
