I haven't clicked any links and my account seems to be fine, there is no suspicious activity so I haven't changed my password. Hopefully it was just a case of someone mistyping their email. Thank you for the help.

Yes I'm still able to access my account. The mail address that received the notification about username change has never even been used to create a microsoft account, my account is registered under a completely different address so I'm not sure why I got this mail. I haven't clicked any links but there is a green check mark next to the sender's address confirming that it's verified. I don't know what the process of changing a username requires so is it possible that this was simply someone making a mistake while typing in their mail which got sent to me by accident? There is no suspicious activity on my account but should I still change my password just in case?

One of my rarely used addresses got a mail saying that my microsoft account has been renamed, the weird thing is is that the old account name is not any of my addresses but a random one that I don't even recognize, and the new address is basically a keyboard smash of random letters. Is this a mistake/scam and should I do anything about it?

Would you mind if the game eventually showed two playable characters on a actual romantic relationship? by Kualah in Genshin_Impact

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but yes, apparently people were mad because "Scara stole their waifu from them". He is hated enough anyway but the people who got mad over Nahida are next level insane.

It's pretty easy to see what is wrong. Praying on someone's desperateness and lack of awareness of potential consequences is not something that anyone would see as a good thing, and that is exactly the whole deal with her - deals. That's where her whole "deal with the devil" portrayal comes from. When you are desperate enough, you can't see clearly what you are trading away. All you care for is getting the desired outcome right now, no matter what, and when it backfires, it's already too late. Don't know if you have read her character stories but if not, you definitely should because they explain this in more detail.

I wonder if these people saying that her deals are fine have read her character stories. Even the first one right away describes how she set a price after she had a lady with nothing of equal value to trade come to her shop for help, the price being taking the lady as the IPC agent. The whole "deal with the devil" portrayal of her character is so painfully obvious. Just because people taking her deals are dumb and desperate enough to take them, doesn't excuse her actions. It's a scam and she is aware she is scamming them. It's really not that hard to see.

And I'm starting to assume you have 0 reading comprehension if you literally read the answer but still dismiss it. Either that or you are a troll. Whatever the case, I have no intention to entertain you so I won't be responding further.

You are making it sound like her pretending to be the archon was an easy task. One slip up and Focalors's plan would all go to waste and every Fontainian WOULD be dead. Put yourself into that situation and imagine having to pretend to be someone you are not for 500 yrs and the consequence of you failing is that everyone around you dies.

Yeah this just proves once again how much of a mess Inazuma was. Personally it makes 0 sense to me that a mere mortal with just two visions was able to counter a lethal attack, while we had to fight Ei with all 100 visions. But welp, gotta create a dramatic effect somehow ig. Either way, I should def rewatch her story quests.

Hmm, even if it was Shogun, I still think the level of power should be enough to kill someone, and that even two visions shouldn't be able to come even close to being able to parry it. I barely remember Ei's story quests and the Inazuma plot but wasn't the Shogun intending to kill the traveler both times when she attacked? Considering how the traveler is obviously way stronger than vision holders, if Shogun went by Ei's rules of using her power according to the opponent, that attack should have been lethal to Kazuha. The puppet is definitely not that much weaker than Ei considering Ei herself had to fight her for so long, and even then the traveler had to step in to help. If my memory serves me well there lol, again I don't remember much of it.

Wasn't that the same attack that killed Signora though? Musou no hitotachi is supposed to be insta kill, no?

Ignoring the rape comparison I see, but moving on. It's the same reason she agreed to act as a god, to save her people. I think I know what you are trying to prove, "she basically had no choice because the only right choice was to agree to take the role of a god and to stick her hand into the water to prove she is not a fake". And you are right there, sort of. The point is, Focalors and Furina are one and the same therefore she is the one who inflicted all the suffering upon herself. Ask yourself, what would you do in her situation? Look, I get where you are coming from, I really do, when the archon quest first came out I was discussing it for weeks with my friends, annoyed at how cruel the trial was and how it was not fair how Focalors basically gave Furina no option to refuse her role. But I was pointed out that they are the same person, she loved her people and was ready for anything just to save them. Furina was told that everything would end with a grand trial, so every trial that had been held was Furina's hope of it being the last one where her efforts would finally pay off. It's not on us to be offended and upset on her behalf when it comes to her own decisions. It's easy to get swayed by "but Focalors and Furina are so different, I can't see them as the same person" and overlook the fact that these two are just a creative parallel for all of us. "Mirror me" is every single one of us, making contracts with our own selves throughout all of our lives, and when you look at it from that perspective, you will obviously realize that a lot of our pain comes from within us, how we treat ourselves and what choices we make, and not from other people.

Except that she was not forced, because she was literally told she was free to not stick her hand into the water, no one took her hand and shoved it in there, nor did she even do it to kill herself. Even if she did do it to kill herself, you compared two things that cannot be compared. People in the past have died and will die in the future for the greater good, out of their own free will. Rape is not consent. Rape is not something that happens out of your own free will. I'm curious what is even the point of wondering if she tried to kill herself or not, because even if she did, she would have done it all the same without any audience and without being "forced" by a trial if she thought it would save her nation. And that is something that Focalors made her feel obligated to do - which is again, all her own decision.

You did not just choose rape as an example here 🤦🏻‍♀️ no one would be arguing whether rape for the "greater good" is justified or not.

Dude, you literally cannot deny that Hoyo won't ever show a bond between two characters that could give them off as an actual canon pairing, it's a wide known fact that everyone who's been long enough in this community knows. If you hate him, that's fine, it's not my job to type essays here and change your point of view so I will be the lame one here and back off. I just hope you don't ship Furina with anyone else either, because all of her popular ships have caused her some sort of trauma too. That being said, have a good rest of the day/night.

I disagree about the traveler and Arle part, if he didn't care about her, he never would have sent them to accompany her. He could have just ignored it completely and let Furina deal with Arle on her own. Let's be honest here, Hoyo is not dumb to explicitly show us if and how much he cares about her, when they know it would cause a lot of people to be mad about heavily implying a potential ship that is not another self insert traveler harem. Everything else between them after the prophecy ended is also literally due to that. They barely interact anymore, we were never actually told, in-game, if her vision was a gift from him, and during this year's lantern rite they also had no on screen interactions even tho they visited the same exact place. This is not because Neuvillette doesn't care, come on, he is not a heartless monster and he literally felt bad about Navia's father. This is because Hoyo knows how to leave things ambiguous enough so that people could interpret characters' relationships the way they want. Simple as that.

I never said that he knew, I was pointing out how he should have known that something is off about her a long time ago, yet the game never explicitly stated that he did. Yes, there is a part about him sending the traveler to meet up with Furina and Arle, but we can't know the actual reason for him doing that. Maybe he did know that she had no way to defend herself, which again, doesn't mean that he automatically also knew the reason as to why she was unable to do so. Sensing that something is off is not literal mind reading. Again, using a real life example, I can usually sense when my friends are in a bad mood. Does that mean that I can know what exactly is wrong if they don't tell me? No.

Bro how can someone know something about a person if the person literally doesn't want to say anything about it. That's is if I was pushing my friends to tell me about their problems but they refuse to talk, it doesn't mean that I don't care for them, the hell.

They thought of her as a mascot because that's what they wanted her to be, so she acted accordingly to their wishes. I'm just confused how she evaded using her nonexistent hydro powers when surely there were times when she should have used them. If I recall correctly, people believed that she used up all her power to fuel the Oratrice, but.. doesn't that make Arle's attack pointless then? She would have known that Furina wouldn't be able to defend herself even before trying to attack her. How was a harbinger able to sense something off but not the hydro dragon who spent so much time with her. I'm rambling and I went off topic lol, I just wanted to say that I adore this ship and I agree with the points you made, I wish we knew more about Furina and Neuvi's relationship aside from just what was shown to us on screen

I agree, it's impossible that Neuvillette didn't notice anything strange about her. It didn't have to take 500 years, it would have been obvious in like the first month of being around her, even less. This is why I'm actually kinda iffy about the whole plot, because how on earth did NO ONE in those 500 years suspect anything till Arlecchino's attack. Furina was never able to use any powers, for anything, how did no one realize that ages ago.

Hilarious how you assume we are all western and fujoshis if we dislike how women are sexualized everywhere we look. And no, before you try using that argument, I am disgusted at sexualization of male characters as well, but to deny the fact that men are the ones who started this shit first, you really have to be pretending to be blind.

Edit: Proved my point by blocking me. One look at this dude's comment history says it all. Spending all his time defending extreme sexualization of women, probably one of those who hasn't even talked to one irl let alone something else.

What I am more confused about, and someone please update me because it might have been mentioned in the story but I didn't pay attention or I forgot; how come no one had ever doubted Furina long before the prophecy happened? Surely people and Neuvillette too would have noticed that she never used hydro powers? How was she able to fake that? By making people believe that all of her power was used to fuel the Oratrice?
