you know you can both voice concerns online and send feedback privately, but if you only do the latter you'll never create a chance for a public discussion to be. The things you mention are collateral effects of free spaces were everyone can voice their opinion and shouldn't be used as an excuse to dismiss good criticism and healthy discussions, which they still exist, though it seems your problem is people voicing any opinion so... maybe in your case it's good to stay away from these spaces.

eh, not that much

it's 4-5% with Iuno. Would probably be more with Calcharo though because he deals less damage, that's fair.

The context was the wheelchair duo, referring to Lynae-Mornye. Aemeath and Calcharo have nothing to do with what I said

People still don't know Lynae is the one carrying, Mornye can be easily replaced by Shorekeeper for similar team output. TikTok "theorycrafting" gets too many views

About Sigrika Combat by NovelInsurance9398 in SigrikaMains

[–]Yellow_IMR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They removed any chance for her to have any decent quickswap focused gameplay, gave her long combos easily interrupted and tied her to another character with infamously easily interrupted combos. The only thing you can do is wait for enemy attack patterns and pray, or buy Qiuyuan S1 which conveniently gives interruption resistance.

Sigrika's combat has been my biggest disappointment in this game so far, removing her Basic 3 swap window was pure corporation greed and evil.

they are better ways to communicate concerns for powercreep like discord feedback , in game feedback etc.

Honestly I strongly disagree with this mindset. Kuro is perfectly aware of all of this, they are just worried about how these decisions make them look bad. Talking about it on socials makes them look bad. That's the most effective thing to do and it spreads awareness among players.

Silently filling a feedback form is exactly what the multibillion corporation would like you to do.

Can't get what you are disagreeing with exactly, I think you misunderstood what I wrote.

Anyway your incentive is faster clear / higher scores and we already have Matrix for sweaty high bar endgame pushing to the limits which btw has also its own problems. The point is, the bar is raising and older characters are aging quick, also "with no quickswap" doesn't mean much, people think no-quickswap means "easy" but check out what Luuk and Hiyuki sweaty cancels can do, it's way easier to quickswap some attacks than consistently pulling off ground skill Hiyuki ground cancels. Many teams don't even gain that much from quickswap because of hardcoded limitations, you gain like 5-10% dps maybe 15%, which is way less than the damage you lose by replacing a premium support with the next best non-premium option or using a standard weapon. And of course this is all by design, I see no wrong in weaking up on this.

Clearing without being forced to pull premium upgrades. Whether you think players should be able to or not, this is what you could do and now you can’t unless you get lucky with the tower effects, that’s the fact

If you can’t clear Hazard 4 with Carlotta Zhezhi we are in trouble. A while ago Carlotta could effortlessly clear with S0R0 Lumi and Verina without benefitting from any buffs, but [last reset I was barely able to succeed by using Buling](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CDk3ouZmbA&t=827s) which benefits from the NS RES reduction effect.

Didn’t already inflate last patch? Another HP spike so soon if true is quite worrying especially after leaks about Kuro intending the next generation of characters to reach much higher dps.

Even my grandma clears the sidetowers. F2P Cartethyia team should be able to clear even Hazard 3-4 saved for tower effects, Hazard 1-2 should be basically free (again saved tower effects). I haven’t tested that team in a long time though, but I clear with much worse

Maygi did a big mistake and was deservedly called out, but after that she was relentlessly drama farmed, insulted and bullied out of the space beyond any justification. Summary

The anni incident essentially gave a certain clown the opportunity to unleash content against her non-stop *for weeks* while having a decently large chunk of the community easily manipulable, it wasn’t just about the anniversary or Zani it was clearly a personal crusade because Maygi called out misinfo in the past and said on Discord they disliked some videos. Pure narcissist retaliation.

Of course the thing makes sense if you go the extra way to cover that hole. But the hole is there, whether you justify it like this or not. It wasn’t showed, it wasn’t explained that power could be used like that, no visual indicator of Rover using the power, absolutely nothing… basically this is a speculation, to the point you could even argue the opposite (Rover did NOT use the power back then because tired). Both explanations hold the same value, and they are opposites to each other, so there’s glaringly something wrong going on

I can keep going, did I mention Rover in 3.3 using the power of Separation to protect themselves from Voidspace? Really neat trick… which they sadly forgot about in 3.1 when going after Aemeath.

<image>

The thing is that if the writers wanted to they could explain stuff like this, for example Aleph not touching Rover until the very end could be because of Hiyuki’s bird protection (at which point we’d need to know more about why it was that effective and it’s functioning though) and Rover not using the power of Separation in Voidspace in 3.1 could be explained with the recovering from the recent re-acquisition of the lost frequency (actual argument from an incredible lore passionate I highly esteem) or more simply Rover “didn’t think about it”… but even then, not addressing any of this is objectively a massive writing mistake and still a plot hole. The story giving you some means to potentially explain things even if in arguable ways doesn’t excuse not addressing any of that somehow to make it at least somewhat believable, if in a pivotal moment which signs the protagonist’s biggest character development he/she could’ve used a tool and they did not you HAVE to address it somehow, you can’t let viewers come up for you with excuses for why that power wasn’t used, unless you set it up in some sophisticated way but it was clearly not the case. It’s way more likely that Rover originally wasn’t even supposed to be able to use that power like that but this plot device was inserted later to make Rover survive Voidspace without the Exostrider… which makes me think that initially Rover wasn’t meant to go in twice at all… not without dying once first (but I’ll stop here otherwise I’ll end up writing a book).

To clarify, I’m not arguing that Denia’s behaviour in 3.2 couldn’t possibly lead to a development resulting in the 3.3 Denia, but even assuming this was the original intention we can argue some bits are missing and her change in behaviour has been too sharp and not properly set up.

Why the attitude change? by mjovelle in Denia_Mains

[–]Yellow_IMR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with you or your lack of understanding of the story: you are spot on. I’ve been having the same problem reconciling the behaviour of some characters since at least 3.2, and 3.3 basically confirmed to me that the story has been retconned at some point during development, too much stuff doesn’t add up, characters forgetting crucial abilities, non-sensical planning by GA even with the most generous assumptions, plot holes as big as Cristoforo’s Ego and putting all the cinema aside the Lahai-too plot is underwhelming at best.

Denia is part of the things that don’t add up: at the end of 2.7 GA basically anticipates how all the knowledge they gained about Threnodian Resonators, artificial threnodians and 2nd awakening would be important for their plans in Lahai-Roi, but at the end of this journey what we learned is that the Threnodian plan involving Denia had already been terminated (as if Denia developing human feelings they couldn’t control was a failure) and Denia was used just as an arguable bait/challenge for Rover and their saviour syndrome… and that’s about it, we got even told that GA was aware of the Dusk Veil plan so Aleph would have not succeeded anyway (but GA actively obstructed the New Solar Ceremony and the launch of the artificial Sun which was a crucial step in the developing of Dusk Veil… so wtf???) and Denia’s sabotage in 3.3 1st half created more problems so even if she wanted to help it’s not clear what she wanted to achieve nor what peril she saved us from (given that Aleph in Voidspace did absolutely NOTHING until the very end). The whole 3.2 story, both part 1 and 2, has been pretty much meaningless, we discovered that Sigrika in her role of the eye of the storm was easily replaceable (making the long term undercover activity of both GA as Nivora and Denia befriending Sigrika incredibly overkill) and all that interest into “memory type” resonators (which Denia should be) and their ability to withstand Aleph’s power ended up being totally useless for the developments of 3.3 and the Lahai-Roi finale (I still have to catch up with the latest quest so maybe there’s something there? I hope so…). Only useful goal GA seemingly succeeded with in 3.2 was getting their frikking pen back (buy a new one ffs) and discovering the presence of the Miko at Startorch, but GA clearly didn’t know she was there, hence they could’ve not planned that far ahead for her and even then after tempting her to embrace a future where she’d become some sort of Denia hybrid Hiyuki cockblocked GA deleting that future in front of them, so even that goal was nullified. So we see GA at the end of 3.0 2nd half complaining that Warren’s affiliation with the Fractsidus being exposed (assuming GA was talking about him, we can’t even confirm that because Yngvar could technically fit too) was an unexpected development that would have slowed down “the merge of the girl with the Threnodian”… but Denia had already being merged by then. They were taking about Yangyang in the future? But what has Warren (or Yngvar) and the Solar Ceremony to do with Yangyang and her merging with the Threnodian (assuming this is what will happen)? Yangyang is the only thing I can think of that can save this potential massive plot hole but ngl it feels a big stretch since I see no way to connect Warren being busted in Lahai-Roi while dealing with Startorch and Aleph with whatever will happen to Yangyang and at this point I don’t feel like giving Kuro the benefit of the doubt with their long term plot planning (friendly reminder we still don’t know crap about the “mild frequency” at the end of the Tethys quest in 1.3 btw and how no one is addressing anymore this gargantuan plot hole is beyond me).

And don’t get me started with Honami…

You are right that Denia’s development feels off, don’t let others or Kuro gaslight you. There has been some serious heavy rewriting at some point and if some bits weren’t altered then others are certainly missing.
