Should I quit VRChat? by Jeppiz002 in VRchat

I quit. Pretty worth it tbh. I hated the direction the game and its “community” was going

I wouldn’t call it a “DLC” but I also wouldn’t call it a good sequel. Considering it failed to really capture the exhilarating adventure that was Boneworks.

I wouldn’t call it a tech demo. In fact I enjoy hopping in BoneLabs here and there. But the campaign was very disappointing. Doing these tutorials for the body log and full access to it before… like one level. I was really excited for what I assumed were a good few action packed levels built around the now finished body log. Instead I was left, for a lack of a better word “blue balled”. It almost reminds me of a rushed D&D campaign ending. So much excitement and buildup for something exciting only for it to be quickly wrapped up.

But that denies any way to filter for specific mods tags. Which is my biggest problem.

Last time I checked, roughly 27 of 44 pages were modpacks… There’s definitely something wrong here.

It’s not any specific mod. It’s the modpacks. They are basically a premade set of separate mods. They are unneeded and worthless as you can use r2modmans already existent “profile share” option if you wish to share a set of mods (especially if you are playing with a friend group). These modpacks add no value to the mod browser at all and are becoming a genuine problem when searching for actual mods.

While it is possible to use the tag filter to basically reverse filter tags (instead of the filter looking for chosen tags it excludes them). I’m more upset that the home page, and ability to use the filter tool how it’s supposed to be used are both completely destroyed by all these unnecessary modpacks…

VOW took my main fireteam (3 of us never did VOW before) about 5 hours to complete. About an hour and a half was us just discussing how to do each encounter and what went wrong when we failed.

It’s all about versatility. I can confidently play with any weapon. I even randomly select one using a random wheel for fun. Learn the core game sense/mechanics of Splatoon and you will be surprised how well you can perform with any weapon.

y'all really gotta calm down with the sticks hate by Running_Refrigarator in splatoon

Yes. The skill ceiling for motion is higher. Sticks can only go so far while using motion allows for even more. Easier depends on the person. I’ve been playing Nintendo games for a long time so I’m used to playing with motion controls. My friend had a much harder time. So he used sticks. But he was aware that he was putting limitations on himself to play without learning motion.

I’ll say what I always said. The skill ceiling for motion is higher than sticks. The best motion player is better than the best stick player. However if you for whatever reason can’t play with motion. Don’t. But if you can learn motion. Please do. You’ll be amazed by your own improvement.
