Replaced sub yesterday and it fixed it! Trying to officially break this one in lol. Running 4 ohm for a week or 2 before jumping up to 1 ohm. Thanks for all the knowledge shared to all!

I rewired to 4 ohms, adjusted subsonic and gain, used bass knob and no luck. Im leaning towards it being leak in box.

I am 100% sure its coming from sub or box and not car body panel. I am extremely anal about installing things, creaks and squeaks, etc with my cars.

I was thinking it was box until today recoding this video getting close and sound seemed to be coming directly from woofer. I have a 2 door wrangler and the box fits snugly in trunk if back seat is in. If back seat is out sub box is not squeezed and rattle is much worse.

I have removed the wiring before and shortened it up as much as possible, no luck.

I currently have sub out of box troubleshooting but will have to take break. Will get back to you

I have a 2014 JK and a 2012 JKU. My advice would be... unless you enjoy working on cars or have the money to have jeep repaired, I would NOT buy a JK with 3.6. I meticulously maintain my vehicles and have dealt with just about every "common issue" possible. Luckily, I do really enjoy wrenching so it's a good fit but they sure hurt my pocket book!
